This casino is located in a prime spot in the centre of Manchester which makes it very popular and can get busy. It's clean and very presentable with all your favourite table games including Blackjack, Roulette and 3 Card Poker and there is also a good slot area and a card room at the far end for Poker, both tournament and cash games are played but there are only 2 tournament games a week. HOWEVER, this doesn't mean it's any good! The staff are rude, it takes forever to get a drink from the floor valets. If you are a keen poker player then I would definitely recommend......SOMEWHERE ELSE. The guy on the poker room desk was too busy chatting away to other staff members to care what was going on. The dealers were complacent and you could genuinely feel that they didn't want to be there, also they were allowing a great number of rule breaks from players. The poker room serves free food to poker players on a Thursday night to be enjoyed during the break, but forget it. It was brought out almost 10 minutes before the break even began, there were non-players who were helping themselves and there was no food left by the break as there was no control over the portion sizes, and most players where just piling the food on their plates like they hadn't eaten for a week or so, of course I realise this is down to the rudeness and greed of the customers, but considering the amount of players you would think there would be supervision over how much people were allowed so as to take in consideration for all, but NO. I would avoid Thursday night poker there altogether there to be honest, badly run, rule breaks and staff who don't care. You can really tell the managers don't care about customers or customer service as the place is in such a good and vibrant location it's guaranteed custom, so they have no reason to. It is a good place to go and gamble if you are in the centre of Manchester but don't go in expecting to be treated as a customer, merely an addition to the people already...

We went for mahjong and ordered some food at 18th June, got ourself box of mahjong around 9pm and turned out some of the pieces went missing. It's not the first time we encountered this problem so we just proceed to counter to change for another set. Normally, the staff would just exchange it with another sets with no issues.

Here comes the thing. This tall, white guy in the counter started shouting at us and blaming us for putting the mahjong sets back to boxes in an 'incorrect way', and accused that people like us is the reason that the mahjong is missing and he needs to count every bits again, while we actually returned the mahjong sets in the exact way he gave us. He went on and told us that this is a 'free service' (not sure why he thought its free - we did spent in the casino) and we should not cause any trouble for him. This is utterly ridiculous in my opinion as he clearly does not work for free and this is part of his job I believe. If there's so many people having such problem he should clearly have a think of why is this happening, rather than blaming customers who only wanted to enjoy their time in the casino.

It was overall a joyful experience if you neglected the fact that we spend 20 mins sorting out the mahjong pieces, 10 mins arguing with the staff, and another 20 mins sorting out a way to take out the mahjong pieces that stucked underneath the electronic...
