The first dish to arrive, in all fairness, was exactly what it said on the tin - noodles and vegetables. My dismay began to seep in when I saw my squid dish arrive. The likeness it had to the picture in the menu was equal to my likeness to George clooney. Absolutely zero. The paradoxical nature of squid drenched in oil but dry to the tongue is no mean feat to achieve. Kudos to the chef for defying the laws of physics however damn him or her to hell for this grub (meal). To combat the sensations in my mouth (which bore a similar likeness to sucking on deep fried wet cloth) I ordered chilli sauce. I patiently waited the fifteen minutes it took to arrive from the kitchen, and when it was thrown through the false bamboo wall next which our booth was situated, it relieved my parched tongue from the segments of salty sand covered squid which I was excrutiatingly digesting. 8/10...
Read moreThe waiter was extremely rude and judgmental and here’s why: I was wearing a face covering mask when entering the restaurant. The waiter greeted me and I greeted back as well, saying hello and can I have a table for one. The waiter didn’t hear me due to the mask I’m wearing. This is completely fine, as there are scientific studies on how masks affect speech perception. However, as I approached him, he said “why don’t you talk back to me?” while I was smiling to him. I said “oh sorry I’m wearing a mask.” He then went on and commented “you didn’t talk back to me. You’re so ill-mannered.” I then apologized, for fearing that he’s going to spit in my food. I said “Oh sorry I did greet you. You probably didn’t hear it.” He commented once again, saying I’m someone who’s uneducated and ill-mannered with his condescending tone. Miscommunication is fine, especially when it was you who didn’t hear my voice first, but you don’t have the right to insult an innocent customer. Maybe this waiter should educate himself to be more tolerant and observant, less judgmental and critical, before he goes on educating...

Edit Post Owner Reply: This review was left before my second phone call to you where the order was very late and you did not make any offer at that time. The food was sent back because of the presence of undisclosed allergens which could have killed my husband. It also meant I had to order elsewhere which meant 2 hours for food overall, had to clean anything that had come in to contact with your food and sleep on the sofa that night so as not to cause an allergic reaction for my husband. Perhaps you should take greater care especially given the number of restaurants prosecuted for such negligence in the Manchester area.
