Innside manchester is the BEST hotel i have ever been to in the uk. Innside is situated directly opposite deansgate train station surrounded by restaraunts bars & a small cinema, it is a 10 minute walk into the center of the city where there are an abundance of shops bars places to eat and a large cinema. Innside is completely wheelchair accessable with a large reception area has specious lifts with access to all floors & easy access to the restaraunt for evening dining this is also where breakfast is served. The staff are amazing friendly extreamly helpful nothing is too much trouble they put you at ease treating everyone as equals no matter if you are the star striker for Manchester united or someone who has saved up all year to have a luxury break. We stayed in one of there suits on the 9th floor they are definatly worth the extra money they have floor to ceiling windows in both the spacious bedroom and seperate living area with amazing views over Manchester. There is a comfortable large corner sofa in the living area with a seperate flat screen tv built into both sides of the wall that devides the living area and bedroom. There is a large unit in the living area which holds a fridge stocked with complementary water & soft drinks with a stylish coffee machine with a selection if pods to enjoy during your stay. The bed is huge plenty of room to share it is extremely comfortable you will definatly get a great restful nights sleep. The bathroom is huge with a large bath and a seperate shower cubicle that is very powerful rejuvenating & is built for more than 1 there are fluffy dressing gowns to enjoy during your stay. The breakfasts are amazing with so much choice of fresh food which is of the highest quality the staff did not hesitate on our second morning when asked if my husband could bring some breakfast upto our room because i was unable to make it down to breakfast they made sure my food was piping hot & fresh a member of staff dropped what they were doing as soon as my husband was ready to select my food brought a large tray which they held as my husband collected my breakfast with a closh to keep any hot food hot & a jug to fill with whatever fresh fruit juice i wanted so i had enough to refill my glass, the staff insisted they accompany my husband to our room so he would not have to carry my food. We ate in the hotels wonderful restaurant on our Anniversary the food was amazing quality so fresh & packed with flavour. I have food allergies & due to this i had emailed the manager of the restaurant to ask about the food explain my allergies any changes were agreed without hesitation i also asked about accessibility for wheelchair access & if they had any built in comfortable bench style seating where we could be seated which was not a problem. We arrived at the restaraunt where we were greated with good evening mr & mrs 'surname' congratulations on your 10th wedding anniversary we hope you enjoy dining with us tonight which we certainly did with the help of some outstanding cocktails. Upon returning to our room from our visit to the restaraunt we found a note wishing us a very happy 10th wedding anniversary accompanied by a plate which had 2 devine desserts on that were complements of the hotel. We are definitely returning to Innside Manchester for our next wedding anniversary. We stayed at another luxury boutique hotel in manchester a few months before for my 30th Birthday which cost twice what we paid at innside but it does not come close to Innside in any way at all. I would definitely recommend trying Innside if you are planning a trip to manchester, Innside certainly is not a cheap budget hotel it is 5* luxury but without a 5* price tag well worth the extra money for such a fantastic experience which will have you planning your next trip to innside Manchester as soon as...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I feel seriously failed as a guest by this hotel. I will never stay here again in my life.
Some points: ▪︎Front desk staff were unhelpful and unprofessional. They failed to log my complaint upon check out. ▪︎Checking in was a lengthy process which took too long. ▪︎The room was dark and depressing. ▪︎The pillows in the bed were quite uncomfortable and the headboard was rock-hard. ▪︎The carpets felt dirty so I kept my slippers on the entire time. ▪︎I found the bedroom/bathroom arrangement strange, open plan was odd and didn't work in my opinion. ▪︎I had to pay a £50 deposit on check-in without being fore warned. ▪︎There is no parking on site and Q Park is very expensive and a fair distance with bags.
As well as the above. My main concerns which prompted me to write this review was that the sink tap and shower would not work properly. They were both very temperamental, and the water flow was intermittent. One of the lights in the room also did not work.
I did make reception aware when I checked out. They never logged what I told them on the system. So later when I emailed because of their own incompetence of not logging the incident, I was accused of not informing anyone. Ridiculous.
In the email response, they asked if I had inserted the key in the slot by the door. I told them I obviously had otherwise I would have had no light in the room and would have been in darkness. They would not admit there was a problem with running water in my room. Anything to avoid accountability and instead blame the guest.
I left some belongings in the room including shoes and they were either stolen by housekeeping or thrown away. As when I rang up a few hours after I left. I was told "Nothing was found."
Disgraceful customer service no apology no accountability, nothing. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.
I agree with the previous 1 star review no transparency at this place.
It's just basic needs and rights when you PAY!! to use a hotel that you should be able to have a shower and wash your hands and I have not even been...
Read moreIt is not a 4 star standard. The staff are definitely of a 4 star standard - extremely well mannered and happy to help. Everyone who attended to us was kind and went above and beyond and are a credit to the group.
The rooms are spacious, but lack creativity and feel extremely ‘dead’. There was dust underneath the light around the mirror which made it look dirty. Our shower head unfortunately sprayed in multiple directions and was unpleasant to use. The hairdryer is unacceptable for a 4 star, its extremely cheap and having to hold down a button the entire time to dry your hair otherwise it cuts off is the standard I would expect from travelodge, not Melia. Wardrobe space is lack-luster in proportion to the room size, and coat hangers that are attached to the railing so you cannot take it out to hang your clothes with ease is insane. It gives the vibe that I am not trusted to not steal their £2 coat hangers. All this and a £50 deposit? Theres not much you could realistically take to begin with worth £50 anyway since they’re so scared you’ll take it with you so they clamp it down.
The lift broke during our stay temporarily requiring use to go down 7 floors and multiple flights of stairs. The front entrance rotating doors did not work the entire time of our stay, bar a few seconds until some rude guest pushed the doors and broke them again. There is no business centre facilities, and as someone from Korea this is bewildering to me for a 4 star. The lovely lady at reception helped me with my request, but it felt like a unnecessary step when these facilities should be made available for easy access to begin with. There was a slight banging noise - not from another guest but it seemed like something else which was constant. It was extremely irritating and made it hard to sleep whilst there.
The location also isn’t great. Located right next to student clubs and a good 15-20 minute walk from the main centre whilst charging such a premium price. I would not stay again, but it is a okay for a overnight stay if...
