Visited this evening with my sister & we ordered the nachos to start followed by buffalo chicken wings, chicken burrito, pork tacos and diablo dust chips. We waited over 45 minutes for the nachos.. asked where they were and got told the wait was because the wings were coming with them even though I asked for them with the mains. Also, people that ordered after us were served their food before us so there wasn’t a good serving system in place. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our drinks and I was served a watery pint of Corona and a flat glass of Coke. We sent them back and I got a bottle of Corona instead which had the year missing from the expiry date which made me wonder if it was out of date. All it said was JUL, no year yet the whole of the rest of the expiration marking was intact 🧐 strange! Never seen that before on a beer bottle… The mains came quickly after the starter and were nice except my tacos were cold so had to send them back. The chef said it was because the sauce was cold but so was the onion and rest of the toppings which makes sense but maybe keep them at room temperature to stop them making the meat cold? BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN IN MANCHESTER!! Dined here on Thursday evening with my partner. They had a deal on - buy one get one half price on all wings, tacos and cocktails- for the amount we had we were so shocked at the bill! Such great prices and I would say very cheap when you think of the quality you get. Start to finish everything was perfect. Such a welcoming environment- decorated beautifully with all hand painted walls that one of the owners did. The couple who took care of serving us were so lovely and gave amazing service! Its a recently set up family business and I really hope everything goes well for them. THE FOOD!!! Everything was so good , the quality and care that goes into each dish is amazing! We were told they import all their chillis and source all the best ingredients. Even the garnish compliments everything perfectly The tacos were fab, we had pulled pork and the birra taco - chicken and chipotle quesadillas were 10/10 . A fantastic Family run Mexican Restaurant in the heart of Fallowfield! The food is super tasty and very authentic, with a great variety and some really good deals available. We have tried almost everything on the menu and are always impressed with the quality, freshness and authenticity.The staff are very friendly and welcoming and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, especially when we have dined with the children.The chap behind the bar, Johnny, is a real character and makes some terrific cocktails, personally I love their Margarita's, one of the best I've ever had.
