Been meaning to come here for a while. Always seen the reviews but haven't found time to come... Until today. Gotta say I like this place. It's small but not bad to sit in. Just book in advance just in case I'd say especially on a weekend. The food was served nice and hot. Nice and spicy, but not too hot. Most of the positive reviews are based around the sushi. A really nice little authentic Japanese restaurant. A great variety on the menu. Every dish we ordered was really tasty. Very pleased. I think the service could have perhaps been a little more attentive. Wasn't wrong or bad. It was really good, but it was missing a little of the wow to get 5. Especially when I had to walk all the way to the petrol station as they only take cash...

I would definitely go again and there is plenty to try on the menu, so no real complaints, just don't like when establishments avoid card payments...

Had chicken katsu curry and vegetable gyoza. Curry sauce was lumpy and full of carrots and potatoes. Chicken was as tough as old boots and gave me stomach cramps after. It also came with a random clump of brocoli? . The "vegetable gyoza" turned out to be chicken Gyoza which was covered in vegetables including cucumber. Absolutely awful.
