I felt compelled to write a review after the family NY dining experience. We arrived for our booked time of 7pm the Resturant was busy with people waiting - but we managed to get seated at our table after the barman talked to the rather flustered and preoccupied owner due to customer demand that the skeleton staff were struggling to deal with. Once seated we waited at least 15mins before having to prompt the barman for menus and drinks. Other people arriving and some already seated were having issues with reservations and service. One family waited an hour to be seated then another hour before finally walking out. The family next to us had starters but then waited 2hrs with no food while trying to entertain a toddler who like others lost patience and left. We only managed to get our order when I asked a second time when our food would arrive as the barman’s response first time was “I don’t know” then walked off. The food is this restaurant is its saving grace as it was tasty and having had many previous currys from here, they have all been great. However as a family we will not be returning.The owners explanation was “we are trying our best”, his manner and reasoning was as if we should feel sorry for the lack of preparation and at no time offered any concession for the terrible service. The management of their bookings and treatment of their dinners was in my opinion amateurish at best. They must have known it would be busy and instead of being prepared their kitchen and front of house staff were inadequate in terms of their communication and dialogue between themselves and customers. Thanks for the previous food but we will be looking elsewhere for atmosphere and a significant better service experience in future. Eat here if it’s quiet as food is good, avoid the place at all...

I don’t even know where to start with this review well I would start by deleting that one star but cannot write this review without it ! We waited nearly 2&1/2 hours for our delivery we were told 45 mins so after an hour and a half waiting patiently as we know it’s Saturday night we ring up to ask will it be much longer to be told another 15 mins it will be with us ! Well guess what it still hadn’t arrived so I ring back up again and ask where it is he said give me 10 mins and I will bring it so it hadn’t even left the restaurant so when it eventually arrives it is freezing cold the chips were soggy and the food was not even the correct order 😡😡😡 so to put it in a nutshell poor customer service with very long delivery waiting times and not much to say for themselves I will not be ordering from...

Manager very miserable didn't seem to be able to cope service was terrible had to ask 3 times for a drink nobody came to the table when we sat down to ask if needed drinks . Needs more staff aswell. The man who was doing the bar was very lovely there was a group of 8 people who booked 10 days before didn't have a table had to wait then ended up walking out as nobody came to serve them for an hour. They main thing was aswell is when bill came the drinks were more than the food the manager had charged us for 2 more drinks that he didn't give us.
