I ordered food around this time. The order number is 379Q3. The bottle of can was missing from my order which I only found out once the delivery guy left. Right away I have called the branch- Castle Bromwich birmingham. I asked for a refund. Spoken with Shabir Ahmed and Asad Raza. They said I needed to come to the store to sort this out. I do not drive that's the reason why I ordered ot online. I have told them they needed to sort this out because I spent £3.99 only on extra charges - delivery and service fee. They said its not their problem. Sometimes delivery guys do that. I told them that's not on me as they have charged me for the delivery and KFC has contract with iber or just eat, so whoever delivered my food, they should be held responsible. And store needs to refund my money. Shabir said that not his problem and they will jot do anything about it unless I come to the store. If we keep the customer service quality on side and only talk about logic I would like to understand the logic behind this avenue to sort out customer complaint. I paid for my food, extra charges for delivery, why would I have to chase this with uber or just eat or even file a complaint with head office. Why couldn't they not sort this out and value a customer? Arshad had very carelessly told me it's not his problem and the call is being recorded. I called about 16:05 today. The food was cold and soggy. To that too he said its delivery guys fault. They did not accept any responsibility for anything. My whole point is I ordered my food directly from the KFC app. Therefore, it should be KFC who should have dealt with my complaint right away , rather than making me filing complaint here. However the attitude from the majority of the staff is ridiculous! Today in particular I went in and a server under the name of Maryam was the most vile and disrespectful server I have ever come across. Her attitude was an embarrassment to the company and the way she spoke to customers was pitiful. Her tone of voice was rude, her eye rolling I found to be unnecessary and her continuous huffing and puffing was a shock to both myself and everyone else in the queue behind me. I am aware that the job may not be a delight however to patronise customers over the menu I find rather embarrasing as it was quite evident that this young lady was in no position to look her nose up at anyone.
