Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

Me, my husband and toddler daughter thought we'd have some lunch after our shop, in the castle bromwich morrisons we came to last weekend and what a waste of money it was. Firstly, the lady taking our order informed us that there would be a 20 minute wait for food. We ordered 2 big breakfasts both with toast of the side and a beans on toast for our daughter + 2 coffees. We were happy waiting for 20 minutes, however it took 45 minutes for our food to come. When we finally got our food, both sides of toast were missing. After trying to call over the lady that gave us our food several times and being ignored, i went over to her and and let her know. I am appaled to say that she said that she was too busy to deal with this and that we'd have to go back up to the till with our reciept. By the time my husband came back with our toast his breakfast was cold and mine was nearly finished. On top of that my toast was burnt to a crisp and barely edible. The breakfast itself was okay, but was not worth a 45 minute wait. Overall im very dissapointed with our experience (hence the lengthy review) and wish i had asked for a refund. The coffee was gross and had to wait nearly 5 minutes for milk, there was dirty tables all around us, the cutlery was filthy and the staff were incredibly rude. Someone from the company needs to have a serious look at this cafe, the place is thoroughly depressing, I feel for the staff as they need someone or something to inspire them, the service is poor, the quality of the food is poor, there is always something missing such as cutlery, and I think that the locals have left in droves.
