Absolutely disgusted with the service from here, made an order over £40 and rang in especially to ensure they didn't repeat the same disappointments that we had previously from them such as the cookie dough being burnt. The order arrived, with the cookie dough being very burnt and the waffles were hard at the bottom. Some of the order was not edible.
We shortly rang in to address this issue and spoke to Karen who said that they would resend the order out for free and would leave a note in the till with our details including address. 2 weeks later we rang for the order to be placed and requested to speak to Karen, who said she would be working every Sunday. The manager said she was not in until 4 pm, and after explaining the situation the manager claimed there was no note with our details and said to ring back at 4pm when Karen arrived.
We rang again at 4pm and the manager then said Karen was not in today due to family circumstances and changed his whole story! He then claimed that the cookie was sent out on the day we rang initially but did not have any proof of this, even though nothing was sent out and it was supposed to be over £40s worth of desserts not just a cookie. We have not received anything and the manager started to get aggressive with my wife on the phone and batting her away. He said he didn't need to show us proof of the cookie being sent out and was just in a cobweb of lies!
Will not be ordering from here again, plenty of better places around who value customer services and DO NOT LIE. We spent over £40 hard earned money in this climate to received unsatisfactory desserts and have been lied to! I would give minus...
Read moreAbsolutely appalling customer service. We went in and asked for a table. We were asked to wait whilst they Cleaned the table. We sat down and decided to go and place the order. We were told that the share box will take 45 minutes because they have takeaway orders they must make. So I reasonably asked if we ordered individually then would that be any quicker. At which point the staff member walked up to me as if ready for a fight and raised his voice . I repeated my question, a little shocked by his attitude. He then shouted that it will take 3 staff members to make our order and that they are too busy with takeaway orders.
Totally appalled by his behaviour I said that I’m sure he was the manager as that is why he is being so so rude. Not surprisingly he was the manager. I couldn’t understand why he asked us to take a seat if he wasn’t prepared to take our order.
If a person can not work under pressure and handle online orders at the same time as customers walking in then he really needs to rethink his job role. Managers are supposed to handle things like this rather then take their pressure out on customers. This incompetent person doesn’t have a clue about customer service. We had children with us and he didn’t even hesitate creating a scene in front of them.

She didn't want to know. The delivery driver then tried to speak to her and all she did was ran her mouth that he was being rude when in actual fact he wasn't at all. He could hardly even speak English but tried to assist me. All she did was fob the mistake off onto Uber and offered no assistance. Totally ignored the issue. I will never order again from your dessert shop. Sort your staff out. Rude , obnoxious member of staff you have there. Horrible experience!!! Would give it zero stars if I could.
