Came in with some work colleagues for some after work food and cocktails!! Was greeted warmly by the NEW manager who has made BIG changes all for the best!! The atmosphere was upbeat and live it is a Saturday after all!! We had cocktails, unfortunately my Long Island iced teas I ordered were flat and didn’t really have the alcohol taste!! Couldn’t say anything as bar was packed out!! Food wise I ordered the vegan mother clucker burger with halloumi fries (btw I’m not a vegan) food arrived super quick , Natalia our waitress was bubbly professional and really nice thank you!! My favourite bajan sauce was no were to be found, but worry not the manager found me a bottle from the kitchen which was very nice of her!! The burger was warm wish it was hotter in temperature!! The halloumi fries were soggy swimming in some cold watery watery Garvey , not nice!! But they were really busy!! My colleagues enjoyed the night!! Thanks again to the manager and Natalia for looking after us!!

Came here for the second time. Been meaning to come back for some time but didn't get a chance. However today the visit was for a birthday meal. The birthday boy had never been here so was a good way to get this review. The manager (sorry didn't get the name) greeted us at the door and was very friendly. Guided us to our table which was ready in our arrival. The waitress serving us, Simone, was faultless. She met every need of ours, was always smiling and most of all, friendly. The food was on point. The birthday boy enjoyed the Goat Curry which was his first experience for Caribbean food. The time we attended we took advantage of the 2 for 1 on cocktails and I personally don't think they're over priced. Overall a great way to celebrate the birthday and in his own words, a rememberable experience. A massive thank you to Simone and the staff for making the experience a memorable one

Service yesterday evening was courteous/prompt. This included phone call query made prior to attending and the portion size for curry goat was reasonable. The curry goat was all eaten which speaks volumes but I still think it lacks a bit of that extra I’ve had elsewhere such as maybe an independent restaurant or a highly rated takeaway. It’s likely to do with the sauce or cut of meat perhaps but on the other hand I’d rather opt for this if I knew this wouldn’t compromise on natural ingredients or more excess oil as I have experienced this with some takeaways mainly in past. Desert; (pineapple marinated in some rum based liquid) definitely ended the meal nice. My only complaint is there wasn’t enough of ice cream/cream. It may suit some people so an improvement could be an extra scoop for example if requested or for a cheaper price perhaps.

Went out yesterday to eat with my friends and the service was appalling. Let’s just say I have been to better places with much better service. Firstly, they gave us seats next to a group who were loud and just uncomfortable to be around. We had to ask if we can change seats. Then I had to wait for a while to get a waiters attention to place an order. The food was lovely and we can’t fault it however we had to wait an hour for someone to get us a takeaway bag and our bill. The waiter that was initially asked for the bill had forgotten and started serving someone else and got busy with something else and it took a while to get another waiters attention. We had asked about the blue light card discount scheme and it was just a long process to get the discount. We were told the process by the staff and once that was done we were not able to copy the code due to some technical error due to the app so we had asked the waiter if they was a manager on site which he can discuss it with. He told us they wasn’t. However after a while I believe a team leader for the bar section arrived and then applied the discount but instead of applying the 20 percent for the hassle and the long process it took she only applied 15 despite seeing a valid blue light card Whilst paying for the payment we had an explained to the same waiter we weren’t happy with the service and they should have manager on site. He had told us they was two manager but they were busy Despite being a busy time of day no matter how busy you an are a manager should be made available to discuss issues and concern. The fact that we were lied to and the service of other tables were prioritise was disappointing. It did seem like the tables that ordered alcohol drinks and bigger groups were given much attention to others than did not have drinks and small groups like us The atmosphere was not family friendly as groups were loud inappropriate and distributive and it was allowed

I would not recommend this place for blue light card holders, as youl spend an hour just trying to get the discount applied, as well as families who do not order alcohol drinks and definitely not recommend for the...

The worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. We had pre booked and pre ordered food for a table of 18 for 18:30pm on a Saturday. It took an hour for drinks to be served to start off. Then about an hour and a half in we were told ribs were off the menu due to a supplier issue that morning. I pointed out there were ribs literally waiting to be served from the kitchen in front of me, my observation was ignored, maybe the music was too loud. Our starters arrived at around 20:00 then another full hour till mains were served, mine being the Budda Bowl which came without the avocado and sweetcorn. When I told the server, that's when they found out they had no avocado so I had cold overbuttered brocoli as a replacement.

I can understand supplier issues and lack of staff but the situation was not managed at all. Why were they taking UberEats orders?! Why were they accepting walk-ins when they had 4 kitchen staff? No apology or ANY communication from management for the poor service, it was just the front of house staff taking the brunt. I even saw a pizza takeaway box from next door on a table... it was there for well over an hour because they couldn't manage to clear tables. Maybe someone else got tired of waiting.

A strange encounter was the server not understanding how to serve a glass of squash. It came with two glasses, one with water and the other with neat squash. To be fair it made us laugh and actually was no bad thing, just unusual and added to the chaos of the night.

Service was absent, we set out the cutlery and cleared plates and glasses ourselves. Obviously we complained and were given a hefty discount off our bill.

This is not good for buisness or reputation. Make it make sense. Turtle Bay owe it to their staff's wellbeing to get management right and put customer...

We came to Turtle Bay for dinner, and had genuinely one of the worst experiences. We waited around 20 minutes before we were even asked about drink orders, and waited a further 15-20 for them to arrive. We were also not given any glasses for the water we asked for. After a 45 minute wait for food, most of it came out cold. When we complained about this, we were told the items would be made fresh, but we watched them get put in the microwave and brought back out. One of these dishes included rice, which I’m sure a food establishment would be aware of the risks surrounding.

Further to this, when asking about allergens in a particular dish, we were given conflicting information, being told that it is included in the dish, and then that it isn’t, before finally confirming that the allergen is present in the dish. We were told that it is our responsibility to declare allergens, although we were never asked about this, and the allergen information displayed online is not comprehensive. When we made our waitress aware of the issue, she offered us a piriton?

The manager was dismissive, telling us that it is our fault that we didn’t check the allergens before, and that we didn’t specify there was an issue during our ā€˜mandatory check back’ (which we did, just to a different member of staff), and was unwilling to rectify or apologise for the situation, instead passing the...
