Came here for the second time. Been meaning to come back for some time but didn't get a chance. However today the visit was for a birthday meal. The birthday boy had never been here so was a good way to get this review. The manager (sorry didn't get the name) greeted us at the door and was very friendly. Guided us to our table which was ready in our arrival. The waitress serving us, Simone, was faultless. She met every need of ours, was always smiling and most of all, friendly. The food was on point. The birthday boy enjoyed the Goat Curry which was his first experience for Caribbean food. The time we attended we took advantage of the 2 for 1 on cocktails and I personally don't think they're over priced. Overall a great way to celebrate the birthday and in his own words, a rememberable experience. A massive thank you to Simone and the staff for making the experience a memorable one

Service yesterday evening was courteous/prompt. This included phone call query made prior to attending and the portion size for curry goat was reasonable. The curry goat was all eaten which speaks volumes but I still think it lacks a bit of that extra I’ve had elsewhere such as maybe an independent restaurant or a highly rated takeaway. It’s likely to do with the sauce or cut of meat perhaps but on the other hand I’d rather opt for this if I knew this wouldn’t compromise on natural ingredients or more excess oil as I have experienced this with some takeaways mainly in past. Desert; (pineapple marinated in some rum based liquid) definitely ended the meal nice. My only complaint is there wasn’t enough of ice cream/cream. It may suit some people so an improvement could be an extra scoop for example if requested or for a cheaper price perhaps.

Came in with some work colleagues for some after work food and cocktails!! Was greeted warmly by the NEW manager who has made BIG changes all for the best!! The atmosphere was upbeat and live it is a Saturday after all!! We had cocktails, unfortunately my Long Island iced teas I ordered were flat and didn’t really have the alcohol taste!! Couldn’t say anything as bar was packed out!! Food wise I ordered the vegan mother clucker burger with halloumi fries (btw I’m not a vegan) food arrived super quick , Natalia our waitress was bubbly professional and really nice thank you!! My favourite bajan sauce was no were to be found, but worry not the manager found me a bottle from the kitchen which was very nice of her!! The burger was warm wish it was hotter in temperature!! The halloumi fries were soggy swimming in some cold watery watery Garvey , not nice!! But they were really busy!! My colleagues enjoyed the night!! Thanks again to the manager and Natalia for looking after us!!

Brilliant food and service received by Solihull Turtle Bay. Had the set Christmas menu and wow it did not disappoint. Lots of choice and a fantastic value including a free cocktail. Food was outstanding, so tasty and arrived quickly. One of our party had an issue with their meal but this was resolved quickly and without fuss. The thing that made our experience here the best though was our server, Betta. From the moment we sat down she was attentive, knowledge about the menu and had great energy. She was so vibrant , friendly and passionate, we all loved her. An absolute asset to Turtle Bay, this lady deserves a massive bonus. She has such character and charm , and made our Christmas meal out memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you so much!

A stunning restaurant with a super cool vibe and first-class service. My partner and I were in a bit of a rush as we had a train to catch right after. Lovely Betta took our order while guiding us to the table, then served both dishes within 5 minutes of us sitting down! You can't get any bettea than Betta!! Both my partner and I are vegan, and we absolutely loved the Vegan Jerk 'Chicken' - even had to ask for the recipe for the jerk gravy. Also thrilled to hear that there's a Turtle Bay in Glasgow - will definitely check that out!"

i came on the 27th and was served by a lovely man called rio. he told us all about the cocktails as we didn’t know if we would like them and we didn’t want to get them just incase we didn’t like them. it’s the best cocktail place in birmingham. please give rio a pat on the back aha because he was such a lovely person. 10/10 for customer service, we didn’t have food but i’ve been here before. i’d definitely recommend, but please give rio a pay rise 😂
