Keep giving this restaurant the benefit of the doubt because we have been coming here for years and the food although expensive was very nice. However recently the restaurant and especially the service has really gone down hill. We came a while back in the evening and even though we were the only customers the service was so slow that we missed the last bus home and had to get a taxi. However the food was nice so went again for the Sunday buffet, which we have done many times before and though very expensive we enjoy. This time we were the only people in there again and they tried to charge us twice for drinks. If it had been busy I might have understood the mix up, but no one else in there. The final straw was Sunday when we decided to go to the buffet again. I cannot say how poor the service was. We ordered various items from the menu, part of our order was plonked on the table on stone cold plates with no interaction from the waiter. Waited for the rest to come, with our food going cold, we asked about the other dishes and a very rude waitress just shrugged. Eventually bought the rest of the food out, but again the waiter dumped it on the table without even looking at us. Salt and pepper chicken tasted old and stringy, everything went cold quickly because it was served on stone cold plates. The only time the waiter spoke us and was anywhere near friendly was when we payed the bill and he had the cheek to ask if we wanted to add a tip to the bill. The only tip I would give them is to treat your customers better when they are paying your grossly inflated...

We ordered a home delivery from the Jade wok on Friday 7th of August and it arrived on time however the food was the worst meal we have ever recieved.Firstly the hot and sour soup tasted like pure vinegar the spring rolls looked like very greasy pieces of cardboard nothing like a spring roll that is normally served ,the beef in black bean sausce had so much salt in it you ccould not taste the beef or sauce ,the sweet and sour balls were cold, the spare ribs were like lumps of gristle and fat but the rice was ok. We had to throw all the food away because it was totally disgusting and shoud never have been sent out by a chef to any customer . I understand if somewhere is busy because as we all know sometimes a dish might not be as expected but this was every dish that was rancid and i cannot think of any reason why the whole meal could have been so bad .I am trying to get arefund from Just eat but it is not just about the money it is about terrible service which is not acceptable today. When i called the restaurant and told them how bad the food was they did not seem bothered but did offer to send 2 more soups to make up for there shortcomings however we declined and asked them if they wanted to collect there food back but they said no. 11/08/2020 we have tried to get a refund from just eat but they hae told us that the restaurant has to send the money back but the payment went to just eat so it is there responsibility because they have our card detalls for a refund not the restauarant SO BE AWARE THAT JUST EAT DO NOT WANT TO SEND ANY REFUNDS...

Well, the less said the better to be honest. The initial greeting by my first server was frosty, swiftly followed by a flat tasteless coca cola. I then, unfortunately, ordered food, which I wish I hadn't. Great big oily globules of god knows what that they tried to pass off as paper wrapped king prawns. Definitely bought in frozen from what can only be described as China's version of Farm foods. To add insult to injury, I was then served up a smattering of tiny gristly bits of beef in a silver bowl of slop that would've made Dickens proud, namely beef satay in a mini wok. This was served with a side order of greasy, crunchy egg fried rice that I hadn't ordered... I'd ordered edible egg fried rice. Most of the meal was quite rightly left and I still feel queasy now writing about it, a bit like Pavlovs dogs. I would advocate avoiding this place at all costs unless you like being robbed by paying for so called food that makes you want to become a...

Went here on a Friday night for a kid friendly early dinner with my four year old and it was just great! Everyone in the family, old and young, really enjoyed the food. We got talking to the owner and she told me about their long history being the first of its kind in Solihull two decades ago. She also explained to me that they’re currently wanting to re-empahsise its legacy and were working on some exciting new things. We got very lucky (they had some lobster in stock!!) so got to order my favorite lobster noodle dish - absolute scrumptious showstopper. The showstopper for my 4-year-old on the other hand was the chicken wings and this little penguin ice cream that made her day. Overall definitely coming back and rooting for this restaurant to thrive.

Today (27 Aug) we came and tried the Sunday Buffet. It was £19.9per person plus service charge. Yet there were so many dishes to choose. And I highly recommended the sesame prawn toast as well as the fried mixed vegetables. In total we have tried a total of 15 dishes and they were all prepared on order, you must give a try. We went to celebrate Father's Day today as there was no table available last week. All the dishes were delicious and very Cantonese flavour, we enjoyed the food and service very much. There were around 10 tables and you are recommended to book in advance. The owner mentioned that the menu is a little different between Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday. Maybe we will go there again later to learn about the difference.

The food was nice but unfortunately the customer service was not the best. It was our first time visiting this restaurant and there was a clear difference with how they treated their regular customers compared to how we were treated. The staff was standoffish and they took orders from people who had came in the restaurant after us before they took ours. They served me a drink that had strange looking bits in it and when I questioned it I felt like I was being fobbed off. Don’t think I will be returning to be honest.
