It's been a while since our last visit to The Three Little Pigs and I am pleased to say we were pleasantly surprised when we returned. On previous visits we had found the abundance of paraphernalia adorning the ceiling and walls too overwhelming, but this has now been stripped back to show an eclectic mix of antiques, vintage metal signage and rugby memorabilia. This quirky, fun-loving sense of style has opened up the interior of the pub to reveal a comfortable, spacious area for dining or a decent pint. On sunny days there is outdoor seating both directly at the front of the pub and in the square opposite. It was a lovely, warm evening when we visited and there was a great, almost continental atmosphere outside thanks the happy, friendly vibe. What a difference some decent weather makes to supping a pint outdoors. The menu offers an interesting variety of snack and meal options. Between us we enjoyed the pate, tempura prawns, and deep-fried brie for starters. Good, decent size portions and each was delicious. For mains we chose spinach and ricotta cannelloni, scampi, goats cheese pasta. Again, excellent quantities, great taste and all at reasonable prices. The service was good, although the impact of just how busy the pub was became apparent when our starters and main arrived simultaneously. No harm done as the errors were corrected by the serving staff. Our one gripe was having to ask for cutlery and serviettes. These really should be available as standard. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable pub to enjoy a family meal. We are already looking forward to our return visit to enjoy more from the delicious menu. Hmm.....fish...

Loved the pub, wow massive portions and really good home cooked food,,, I had steak and Guinness pie with stilton in it,, yum,, proper short crust pastry,, lovely and buttery,, with lovley flavour some gravey,, mashed potato with hurbs in it,, and peas, followed by a sticky toffee pudding with lovley light sponge and nice toffee sauce and ice cream,, nice big wadge of it,, my other half had surf n turf,, for a really good price,, lovley tasty big rump steak with lovley juicy scampi,,with coleslaw and fries,, followed by mars bar cheesecake, we both had drinks x 2 ,, we been there before a while ago for food and it was nice then,, I'm guessing they may be light in staff as we had to wait to initially get served but that's not there fault it's just hospitality there days,,, the dining room where we eat was cool,,, full of really cool old stuff on the walls,,, and when you go into the bar on the ceiling it's full of beer mats of rugby,, cool place,,, really good prices,, they must shift a lot of food as it was blooming lush.,, keep up the good food the three pigs,,...

walked in for lunch midweek with my dog. the place has a large amount of decorative items as you can see from all the pictures. the staff was pleasant and attentive. the dinning room was large with high ceilings and again lots of interesting decorative items. the front bar was comfy for luch and great to look out the big windows at the square.

The food was great - home made steak and stilton with skin on chips - and I was very satisfied. I took my second pint outside in front of the pub where the sun was baking and people we going about thier business of the weekday afternoon.

The parking is not great if you're by car since there seems to be a 45 minute maximum on the street during the day and some restrictions may apply at night. Maybe there was a better place nearby I missed.

All-in-all, high ratings earned the old fashioned way with good freindly service and excellent food at decent...

We were invited out for a gathering of friends to have a little shindig for Christmas tonight. We had never visited the Three Little Pigs before and it's quite an experience! An amazingly eclectic collection of haberdashery all around the place. Plenty of friendly and well trained staff on to cater for the customers, no queues at the bar and the carvery line was well monitored too make sure that you weren't standing waiting in a massive line. The food was of really good quality and their allergen knowledge seemed really good too. If the young waitress wasn't sure, she went straight to the kitchen to find out for us. The food was lovely and we were not rushed or pushed for extras. All in all a superb evening! We all went home stuffed like a big bad wolf that ate 2 of 3 pigs! 😂
