Baobab Cafe — Restaurant in Mid Devon

Wow I love this place so much!

We visited on Saturday with my wife, Mum and cousin and it was such a lovely experience. First of all - a huge thank you to Eran for being so wonderful, warm and welcoming. It was the perfect way to start the day and his cooking is absolutely superb. The atmosphere is more like visiting a really good friend who cooks interesting and delicious food! Everyone there felt the same. Extremely welcoming for all ages with a lovely children’s play area.

We drove down from London to spend the Easter weekend and would be happy to drive down especially to eat at Baobab!

The food was so good we even decided to have a huge takeaway for dinner last night!

The owner of this place is the loveliest person you could ever meet and goes way above and beyond every single time. Had a family meal here and unfortunately one of my family members was being awkward and the staff went out of their way to cater for them which they really didn't have to. Another time, I came here with my partner who has a digestive issue, and he came over to learn more about it and said he would help us put together some recipe ideas for us to try at home to possibly help him. Such kind, caring people... and obviously the amazing, fresh food and great coffee with great prices is always going to have us...

We stopped here for my wife's birthday hoping to try something new. We were utterly blown away by the quality of the food, service and atmosphere.

The food was unlike anything we had ever had. We ordered different dishes to share and were very close to getting more dishes which we would have if we weren't full.

The service from the staff was second to none. They couldn't be more pleasant and were always wanting us to be comfortable and happy with our time there.

It's well worth trying a smoothie with your food as well. The perfect accompaniment to fantastic food.
