Great little Italian restaurant with that abroad feel to it!

Going to English restaurants can be a very boring experience and I'm sure that's why us English love eating out abroad. Bella Sorrento brings that feel to England with a lovely laid back atmosphere and with that ability to be an evening restaurant and afternoon lunch establishment. Some of the staff sat out front as it was quiet playing with the family dog on the street whilst we sat inside and enjoyed not the best Italian food but definitely a homemade Italian experience that is still worthy of five stars because the food is lovely. The staff are polite and attentive and the prices are fair unlike just about every business putting prices through the roof at the moment.

Fantastic Italian Food in the Heart of Stowmarket!

Bella Sorrento is an absolute gem on Stowmarket High Street! The pasta with tomato sauce, chicken, and parmesan cheese was perfectly cooked and full of flavour, and the garlic bread was spot on. We also tried the vegetarian pizza — fresh, tasty, and beautifully made.

The real surprise was the coleslaw — honestly the best fresh coleslaw I’ve ever had! Don’t miss the Chef’s special recipe garlic sauce (he mentioned it has 13 ingredients!) — it pairs perfectly with both the pizza and the pasta.

Came here as we felt like an impromptu italian as we were driving back towards Bury St Edmunds way and what a gem we came across! Parking around can be a little tough but wasn’t too busy when we went.

The place is comfortable, clean and the staff were very nice and attentive. The food wait wasn’t long and what amazing food it was.

I opted for a pizza with sausage/pepperoni/beef and my girlfriend had the bolognese and shared some garlic bread, and we both gave it the highest compliments.

Pricing is very reasonable and seems to be pretty similar to the many other Italians we frequently visit.
