This fish and chip shop is better for vegetarian options than anything we used to go to in Brighton when we lived there. The Vegan battered sausage and battered haloumi are delicious and have become our go to order along with a generous portion of chips. Yet to try the ‘ToFish’, but we will! No chip butties! And they apparently call themselves a chippie! Well overpriced and the wait time even when not busy its almost quicker to catch the fish yourself. Chips are over-cooked, lack potatoes, greasy and seriously unhealthy. Dreadful experience but after nearly throwing up engulfed in the e-cigs of the nearby Cricketers pub I was in desperate need of a different smell and taste and this place most certainly did naff all to improve matters. As for thier food; maybe I've just been unlucky on the four occasions I've shopped there, but the food is a bit below average. It has always a bit over cooked and dry. Fish and sausages are always a bit tough. The chips are dry and hard.
