Bletchley Bakery & Cafe' — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

I don't like to give low star reviews, especially when until this one they all seem to be 5 stars. The bakery is in a convenient location, but thats about it. It took over 40 minutes to collect a simple order - a baguette and a couple of pastries. Should take 2 minutes to throw in a bag. I still had to remind the servers about forgotten items which they provided with a smile questioning how they forgot them in the first place. I would understand the wait if hot beverages were ordered or if I had to wait for something fresh out the oven but this wasn't the case. Look into how you handle customers. Amazing bakery/café. The food is always beautifully made and tastes delicious. They have a decent range of sweet and savoury food as well (salty cheese bake is my absolute favourite). Their eclairs also deserve a special mention. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, large, small and so many other flavours. Oh my goodness they are so much better with the custard and the cream together. Chef's kiss Service is always incredible as well, it is clear as to why there is often a queue whenever I go in and they are well worth the wait! Amazing food and life-saving experience. The caramel coffee was delicious, as well as all the three pastries I had. Because everything tasted so amazing, I decided to order two more chocolate eclairs and my greediness caused me to try and swallow both eclairs at the same time, against the owner’s efforts to try and stop me. Of course this caused me to choke and suffocate and almost faint, but the owner quickly saved me by applying the Heimlich Maneuver. My life was saved. Thank you so much God bless you...
