First visit in the cafe, for lunch. Very nice decor, especially the mural. Cakes home made- haven't tried but they looked delicious! Opted for Caesar salad with chicken- lots of vegan options. I asked what type of chicken as menu stated "chicken chops"- was told it was breaded chicken. It was served in a nice bowl- looking appetising - unfortunately - a disappointment as the chicken was not breast breaded, more like chicken burger from re-formed meat- I tasted it and it was horrible. I recently tried the chicken sandwich from Dores in Newport Pagnell and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was well-seasoned, juicy, and cooked just right — not dry at all. The bread was fresh and nicely toasted, giving it a satisfying crunch. The sauce added a nice kick without overpowering the flavors.
