Moza Indian Restaurant, Newport Pagnell — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Visited this place on 20/11/2021, I was very disappointed with my meal, i asked for a chicken korma, and the chicken was raw, manager said "its normal, because it comes already cooked in bags and some bags come pink. " My partner ordered a chicken tikka masala, didn't taste like a chicken tikka masala, it had split and separated into solid and liquid but at least her chicken was cooked. Worse excuse ever, and he also said to call in the morning if we have any issues, like they are open in the morning. Rude staff, only acknowledged myself as male talking not my girlfriend. After speaking with a different member of staff he agreed, that the food shouldn't be raw, and refund the chicken korma. They didn't give us a proper receipt, was written by hand, after I had to ask for a proper receipt. Just had enough and left hungry, manager didn't apologise, or ask us if we wanted the dish replaced. I think the best thing was the poppadoms, and i bet that wasn't even cooked there.

I visited Moza again to attend the Newport Pagnell Carnival charity event and as always, it was a really great visit. Even with an entire restaurant full to capacity and dining, Moza delivered spectacularly. The event was timed perfectly to the food being served and all our dishes arrived hot and with the usual delicious flavour we know from Moza. A couple of wobbles with orders were rectified immediately, almost unnoticeable such was the efficiency and organised manner of all staff. Unlike many restaurants, Moza pulled in every pair of working hands to ensure swift and efficient service, both of food and bar. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and everyone amiable and friendly dispite obviously working so hard to make the event run smoothly. And indeed it did. An incredible effort that would make for a definite option of an event venue in future. Thank You Moza for being the hosts with the most! We'll see...

Absolutely horrendous service. We have eaten with Moza before and enjoyed it; the past few times though have been terrible. We ordered food for delivery at 19:05 and received notification that the food would be with us at 20:25 (still later than we would expect, but we accepted). When it got to 20:40, we called the restaurant to ask where our food was only to be told it would be 10 minutes; 30 more minutes passed and we called them again only to be told that they are really busy so the food will be late..... It finally arrived at 21:10 and was stone cold; NOT HAPPY AT ALL. So disappointed in Moza, and this was the final straw for us - we won’t be ordering from them again.
