Most shambolic experience ever. We used to be a loyal and fairly frequent customer here, but standards have recently slipped as in so many hospitality venues but tonight was absolutely shambles.
Booked a table for 4 with friends for 7pm on Saturday evening. Sadly the only table they had was one of the worst table the venue has, right next to drafty front door, but alas, they were fully booked on this Saturday evening so we can accept this.
However, the rest of the evening went from worse to worse.... Music way way to loud for any guest to be able to have conversation, and we asked repeatedly for the volume to be turned down, this was briefly done but then for every birthday celebration some tacky birthday song was played on the sound system and the volume was cranked up every time for this and never set back to the lower volume level from before so again to have a conversation with the people on our table you effectively had to shout..
...But the worst was the food service... starters were reasonably quickly served, (cold humous) but then the problems started, Main course orders were not taken, or taken incorrectly and in total 3 times the waiter had to reconfirm our order for our mains....
After 120 minutes of being in the restaurant...we were still waiting for our main course...2 hours ... unbelievable and when it arrived, 3 out of 4 maincourse were served.... absolute shambles of a service, it was clear that there were several arguments taking place between the different front of house staff. Even in their local language, the body language was telling enough...
So just after 9 pm, our table decided enough was enough and we advised the manager we would be leaving. We paid for our drinks, and made our way
What a disaster of an experience in a restaurant where we used to be greeted with warmth by waiters who we know...but we wont be coming back... it's not like there is a shortage of Turkish restaurants in Milton Keynes.
If I could give them zero star I would but sadly Google minimum star...

I recently visited Capadocia in Newport Pagnell and had an average time overall. While the food and drinks were okay, there were a few aspects that left something to be desired. Let me break down my experience.
Firstly, the food and drinks were satisfactory. The quality of the dishes was acceptable, but they didn't leave a lasting impression. The same can be said for the drinks; they were average in taste and selection. If you're looking for a culinary adventure, Capadocia might not be the ideal choice.
One noticeable drawback was the limited space within the restaurant. The lack of spaciousness made the dining experience slightly uncomfortable, especially during peak hours. It's worth noting that this could be a personal preference, and others might not find it as bothersome.
Unfortunately, I found the waiting staff to be a little inconsistent in their service. While some of them were nice and attentive, there were instances where their behavior came across as abrupt and rude. This inconsistency in customer service left me with mixed feelings. It's possible that this was an isolated occurrence, but it's something to keep in mind.
Despite these shortcomings, I believe Capadocia is still worth a visit to form your own opinion. Each person's experience can vary, and what may not have impressed me could be a hit with someone else. Perhaps you'll have a different encounter and find more to enjoy.
In summary, Capadocia in Newport Pagnell provided an average experience. The food and drinks were okay, the space was limited, and the waiting staff's behavior was inconsistent. However, it's worth giving it a try to see if it aligns with your personal tastes and...
Read moreWe booked a table for 7 for my Wife's birthday ahead of the date. When we arrived we were all surprised at how small the restaurant was, but we're pleased to see the extra area to the back had much more space but equal amounts of atmosphere. We had a well presented table ready and waiting for us on arrival. The staff also offered to put aside the small birthday cake I had brought for the family to share. After looking at the menus, most of the party went for the set menu. Being a picky (and very health conscious) vegetarian I went for something off the main menu. However when the food arrived I realised I could have easily joined in with the set menu, there was plenty of options for both veggies and non-veggies. The food was beautifully prepared and also delicately spiced! I was in heaven. Throughout the meal the staff were very attentive, but not too much, which is just what you want. They would offer more drinks when empty and quickly clear plates when needed. The set menu dessert selection included the best baklava I have ever tasted, it had to be freshly prepared! It was not too heavy, sickly or sweet like you can buy in a shop, wondeful! To top off the night, the staff all came out singing happy birthday to my wife with candles atop of the cake they had taken from us earlier. As a perfect finishing touch, the manager presented my wife with a complementary bottle of Turkish red wine for her birthday, the very same bottle we had been ordering from the menu. Who knew the Turkish made good wine.
This is a level of service I have not witnessed anywhere else in Milton Keynes. Do not hesitate to visit here at least once (or twice), you will not be disappointed. Meat eaters and veggies alike, will all be very well...
