Total disaster of a Christmas works meal, two and a half hour wait for cold starter and no main meal, Avoid at all cost! We booked our Christmas party well in advance and all meals were pre booked a week in advance, we turned up at the time which the meal was booked, the table was not ready so we asked if we could have some drinks at the bar and put on a tab, we were then told we could not put the drinks on a tab which I thought was strange as every other restaurant I have been to allows this to be done.

We were then seated about half an hour to 45 minutes later, even after waiting all of this time to be seated we had to wait ages to even get another drink. After an hour we were still waiting for our starters so I asked a waitress who said they are very busy but she would find out, she didn't return and you could tell that the staff were deliberately avoiding coming near our table. At this point I noticed that there were many other customers complaining about not getting their meals and meals that were arriving being cold.

After chasing again our starters turned up but were cold, we complained but after waiting so long we did not want to wait for them to be cooked again.

After our starters we waiting another hour and there was still no sign of our main meal turning up. I asked to see the manager to ask him what was happening and his answer was "we are very busy, what do you want me to do about it!" great response, not!!

After two and a half hours we had had enough, we said to the manager that we would give him 15 minutes to get our meals out or we would be walking out, he couldn't have given less of a sh*t about it and just shrugged his shoulders, not even an apology made.

After 15 minutes nothing turned up so we all got up and left, I spoke to a couple of tables on the way out who had been there ages and were also still waiting to get their food.

I sent a Text to Honey the lady that I booked the meal with expressing our disappointment as some of out staff had booked hotels nearby to stay in for the night so they felt very let down. I got a text back saying she would look into the situation and come back to me with what went wrong and also a refund for our deposit.

Since then I have heard nothing back from her, I have text a number of times and also sent emails to chase up but have had no response or refund as promised.

Out of our party there are at least 8 people who used to eat in the restaurant regularly but after being treated as we have they will no longer return, if we had got some sort of response to our complaint or the refund made as promised then this may be a different story.

To summarise, if you want to go out for a meal with a group of you then I would avoid at all costs as they clearly cannot deal with groups and have no clue about customer service in the slightest, I would leave zero rating...

I came here a few months ago and was really impressed with the food & cocktails, however this time not much was right unfortunately. I took a friend out for dinner just to cheer her up and we couldn’t talk the music was ridiculously loud like I was in a nightclub which half of it seem to turn into. They gave me a drink of vodka lime and lemonade however there was no vodka in it and when I spoke to a member of staff she spoke over me several times and was just rude saying I couldn’t tell. I had lobster And was not given the proper tools to get it all out of the claw which was frustrating and just made a massive mess the lobster tail was chewy and overcooked ruined! Our starter was brought quickly which was great as we were hungry however the mains I felt were brought out far too quickly afterwards not giving us any time for food to go down and then we wanted a bit of time for our desert order so we waited 15 minutes and in that time constantly staff coming and hassling us. There seems to be no communication between them? Then when we decided to order our food we were told the thing that we wanted just a crème brûlée we could no longer order as the kitchen was shut. Not once were we informed that this was the case when they knew we just needed time before we ordered a dessert! The food was mediocre at best but the whole nightclub experience when you advertise as a family friendly restaurant was beyond a joke. As my friend and I were going back to our cars we saw an ambulance pull up outside to pick up somebody clearly there had been an altercation what kind of restaurant needs bouncers outside?? I will not be returning to this restaurant and I’ll make sure to let everybody else I know that if they want a nightclub dinner meal this is the place to go...
