A fantastic little gem on the high street - such a shame that they're planning to close down soon. We looked forward to visiting whenever we had a free Saturday morning and occasionally during the week. It made the start to our weekend something special. They provide breads, pasties and deserts of various kinds and the selections vary week by week with some constant favourites (the lovely doughnuts!). Everything tastes so fresh and much better than anything you find in the supermarket. I once had to put in a big order (x7 of each croissants, sausage rolls, Chees pasties, Almond croissants, doughnuts and some bread rolls) amongst other items and Jane was very helpful in arranging everything in advance for collection the next morning.

I bought sour dough bloomer today but looked at this squashed bread not good. 1st time it's happened, it's packed all squashed. I so in a rush today. I need to go back and let them know seems they sliced while loaf was still hot.

It’s always a treat when I pop into Woodstocks Bakery. The bread is fabulous as are the scones & cakes. Well worth the trip. Service is friendly and prompt 😊

If you’re a sourdough aficionado, you HAVE TO try their sourdough range! It comes in three sizes: large, baby sourdough, and a sourdough loaf. You won’t be disappointed!

I had the sourdough loaf today, and they kindly sliced it for me. The slices are medium thickness, with a beautifully aromatic crust and a chewy, soft interior. It pairs perfectly with Brie and jam or as an avocado toast with poached egg—absolutely delicious!

I’ve also tried their cheese scones and cinnamon rolls, and they were incredibly fresh! If you love baked goods, this place is a must-visit.

Just a note: this is a bakery, not a cafĂ©, so there’s no dine-in option. However, they do sell coffee and drinks if you’d like something to go with your treats.

I’m definitely coming back for more fresh-baked goodness—highly recommend...

I've been trying not to write a bad review as the bread is good actually the best in the area but the service at this place is so amateur...and bad depending who you get. It's so difficult to buy bread in this place. The official hours (according to their sign in the shop) are not correct. They hardly open at 7:30 I was outside several times in the cold at 7:30 they saw me in the cold and they didn't care stopped going in the morning. In the afternoon they close yearlier than 16:00... several times. Not professional at all. This is why people stop...
