I came here on a Saturday at 4pm, knowing the establishment closes at 5pm. My plan was simple — grab a quick bite before closing.

As I walked in, I looked at the menu above and behind the counter, deciding what to order. A member of staff greeted me politely and stood waiting for my order. After about two to three minutes of reading through the options, I said I’d like a salad.

That’s when he informed me — quite casually — that the kitchen had closed at 4pm, and no food could be ordered.

What frustrates me is not that the kitchen closes early (although closing an hour before the store itself shuts is odd), but that he watched me read the food menu without saying a word. Common sense and good customer service would suggest you inform customers immediately that the kitchen is closed, especially when they’re standing right in front of the menu trying to decide what to order.

To make matters worse, there’s no mention of the early kitchen closure anywhere — not on their website, not on Google, and not even on a sign in the shop. It just feels careless and inconsiderate.

In the end, it was a complete waste of time. Poor communication and lack of initiative from staff made what should have been a simple, pleasant visit an entirely avoidable...

Can't recommend Two Many Cooks highly enough. This is our 5th time of using them and they have just delivered the most amazing experience for our family 'holiday at home’. They just get it so right and everyone goes above and beyond. Not even 1 star worthy if I could select it! So pathetic! Craving for a quick sausage sarni with a red onion chutney to go. 4 waitresses serving just 6 tables! Omg! And still they mess up the orders! Therefore we had to wait so long for such a quick to make takeaway! Then when we got it, the sausage looked like a shrunk old man's wiener barren on a dry piece of toast with no evidence of any chutney! And that for nearly a 5er! Disgraceful! Poor! Don't go there.
