A very lovely and pleasant restaurant or cafeteria if that's what you would like to call it. It's situated right on the foreshore of the quay, looking over Swansea bay, the view over the bay looking through the huge big windows are very spectacular. It can be an extremely busy place, Very popular with a wide mix of customers or clientele. There is outside seating, On a decent day, weather wise, this can be very enjoyable and preferable.
They have an extensive range on the menu side of things. Not A la Carte or fine dinning. Mainly fast food meals, snacks, sandwiches, pizzas, etc. But enough on the menu to keep most people happy. Not too expensive, and one of the best cake or desert options available anywhere. A good reason to visit, if you like a treat. The position of the premises is also a plus factor being on the 3A bus route. There is plenty of car parking space, which you will have to pay for. And it's very assessable for anyone with a disability. Toilet facilities are good and clean. Also the service is spot on with table service, once you have placed your order. The staff are always helpful and courteous. It can be a little noisy on times, owing to being so popular.
But you can grab periods where it's a bit quieter. Just snuggle up and read your paper or use your phone or computer whilst you enjoy your meal or drinks. So if you are visiting Swansea or Mumbles in particular then definitely...
Read moreVisited on Monday 4th April at 7:30pm . About 5-6 other tables with customers so very quiet , Staff were very helpful at the till , you pay before your food arrives ??? Ordered a Pizza and a Tagliatelle Alfredo . I was shocked at the pizza it looked amazing and toppings were tasty but that’s where it ended .After eating two pieces I scrapped the topping off .
The base was soggy like wet cardboard and ruined it completely!
Italian restaurant that can’t cook a pizza oh dear Verdi’s The tagliatelle Alfredo was lacking any flavour at all and completely tasteless a very watery milk like sauce most of that was also left see picture . Followed by my partners upset stomach a very poor end to the evening . At least a glass of Diet Coke at £3.35 each was drinkable . My partner ordered a ice cream as she left most of the pasta dish . At no point did anyone ask if our food was ok ? And no one acknowledged us as we left . The highlight of our visit , Diet Coke and a shared ice cream 🙁 44 mile round trip for some terrible food. I’ve eaten Italian food all over the Uk and Italy 🇮🇹 Italians would be embarrassed. Come on guys it’s pizza if you can’t cook it ? Then don’t sell it . £32.50 for soggy pizza and watery pasta . Ice cream was the only memorable item worth mentioning .
