The food was excellent pity about the staff we arrived at the restaurant we had booked there was no welcome shown to the table instead of giving us the foot menu we we're given the drink menu l thought this rather strange up comes the waiter what drinks would you like t we felt like we had to order I ordered a soda and lime when i received my drink there was no lime in it they had put a slice of lemon in it .no problem just asked for some lime juice to be put in the drink I did nòtice when they put plates on the table a lot off clatter going on but that was ok. .This restaurant was not busy at this time so why.? Have to say the food was excellent we asked for the bill asked if we wanted to tip which we did ony because the! , food was good I think the waiter thought the tip could have been a bit bigger I might be wrong às as from that point on he never spoke. As we left l said thankyou and goodbye i got no response IThink was extremely rude. I have been to this restaurant many times and always had a good reception what happened.?? After all we had spent a lot of money on the food which was worth it but not the staff do not tell me they were rushed of there feet because they were not . I feel like not going again . I have recommend the restaurant many times but no more such a shame never mine will find...

We are on holiday for our anniversary and my husbands birthday combined and we don’t know the area very well. I called to ask if I needed to book a table and they said I should just come along and they would find us a spot. When we arrived, we were led to a table and I noticed how empty the place seemed to be (which was my only cause for concern). I can only wonder why it’s not heaving every night. Everything was perfect! The waiter was attentive but not overly, the service was timely and unhurried, the food was incredibly tasty and the atmosphere was light. They had created a wonderful ambience! The place did indeed begin to fill up after we were seated. The no alcohol served rule suited us as we don’t really drink anyway but people can bring their own. As soon as I walked in the person who was bit older didn't have any welcoming spirit, as I asked him where I can order takeaway he just said here and left. The order that I placed was tandoori chicken, which was very dry and for some unknown reason topped with fried onions, it was very bland and dry. Second was Lamb briyani, which was worst then fried rice that I have had from some places, Lamb was only good thing about it, coocked perfectly. Third one was Tarka Dall, which was just Dall without any Tarka and last thing was chapati which was mixed with different flours and from the middle it was like cracker.😔😔😔. I just wish that they would ask, like others places 'how hot would you like your food?', my partner he is English but even he said that food...
