The Cellar Wine & Cheese Bar — Restaurant in New Forest

We have been meaning to try this place for a long time now, and I was unsure as I don't like a lot of cheese or cured meat, whereas my husband loves it. The décor is very inviting, there are lots of interesting items to look at. Tom was very welcoming and patient while we perused the menu, checking to see if I could eat anything. They had cheese fondue, so I was sold, Tom was very attentive and we discussed the menu and he suggested some side plates to accompany the fondue. Our drinks arrived quickly and the Rosé was very fresh and just what I needed. The food arrived in good time and was very pleasing to the eye, and we couldn't wait to tuck in. The fondue was delicious and I could have eaten a pot to myself, the pork pie was locally sourced and although nice it was a bit dry. Overall we had a lovely evening and could not fault the service or the quality or flavour of the food. We will definitely be back, maybe you could get a bigger fondue bowl though as it went far too quickly, and we both wanted more. I highly recommend this local family run...

I had a really lovely lunch here – a relaxed and enjoyable experience from start to finish. The charcuterie board was beautifully presented, with a great selection of cheeses and cured meats that were both fresh and full of flavour. Everything was well-balanced, and you could tell care had gone into the choices.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome without being overbearing. It’s the kind of place you want to return to – great food, good atmosphere, and genuinely nice people.

We moved to Ringwood and Stuart was the first person to greet us as we made our first walk into the town centre one evening. Tom made us feel incredibly welcome, provided a warm and top tier service. Ever since, Stuart, Tom and the whole team have treated us like family and bring a homely feel to a cosy restaurant.
