The Ollerton house — Restaurant in Newark and Sherwood

During the pandemic we continually supported Alison and her team purchasing take out carvery . Since re opening we have returned and have eaten in restaurant a few times. We took my elderly mother today for lunch.|||| A pleasant friendly smile and warm greeting awaits us. The three meat choice ensured we all had something we liked and was tender and the service from the chefs second to none. Our waitress was attentive and never stood still . Beautiful traditional carvery plenty of it so I would challenge anyone to say the portion size is not big enough lol. Ended with the white choc and strawberry cheesecake made by the other waitress we have come to know ,Maddie.... one word .... yum! ||||As usual the while quality of food and service was amazing . Value for money too. We will continue to support Alison and the gang as she has got the whole place spot on and is consistent in her delievery of a wonderful dining experince. See you...

What an amazing experience we had for Sunday lunch. Carvery was to die for as had 4 meats with as much as u like for £10.50. Bargain. Roast potatoes and yorkies were perfect (let’s face it that’s the litmus test of a quality carvery!!).

Even gave us meat for our 2 dogs. Kids meals were a good size for £3.75 (bargain!) and the pie of the day was a choice of three - steak was fantastic as full to the brim with meat!

7 of us ate with drinks and 5 had dessert for £100 which is for the quality of the food and the service was unbelievable.

Staff were so friendly and made us feel more welcome than any restaurant I’ve ever been to anywhere in the world.

It has a large car park and small play area for the kids...
