KFC Newcastle under Lyme - Liverpool Road — Restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Nice food, a bit on the pricey side, and the wait time on the couple of occasions we have been has been ridiculously long - 15 minutes the first time, and over half an hour the second time - not exactly fast food! And it wasn't even busy, unless there were lots of deliveroo orders going out, but there wasn't much evidence of this. The Vegan Burger was good - better than anything on the veggie menu from McDonalds - containing an actual Quorn chicken burger rather than McDonalds poor offerings which are made up entirely of mixed beans/veg in crispy coatings. KFC's burger actually tasted like a southern fried chicken burger. My only crticism would be that it needed a little something extra to make it really pop. The lettuce and small amount of lettuce wasn't quite enough. The second time I tried one I had a side of KFC coleslaw and added this to the burger - wow! Much better! In summary, KFC as a whole is good, the Vegan option is good but "not quite there", add some coleslaw or extra mayo to make it pop! Unfortunately this particular branch hasn't been the best purely down to painfully slow service. Amazing service by a chap named Conner. We travelled a round trip of 30 miles to visit this Restaurant. On returning home we noticed the order was incorrect, whether we didn't make our order clear or the person who took the order wasn't paying attention is out for debate, these things happen we are only human. I rang the restaurant and spoke to a gentleman called Conner. Right from the beginning it was clear he knew the correct way to speak and listen to the customers, very professional I must say !! He explained the options one of which was to return to the restaurant and he personally would help to rectify the mistake. My wife returned and was met by Conner at the front desk. He immediately apologized for the misunderstanding. He replaced the incorrect food with the correct food and helped my wife with the food back to the car. Mistakes happen, it's how mistakes are dealt with is what matters. Many, many thanks Conner for how you dealt with us that evening.

Its nightmare I use to Kfc order by Uber grom dome while my orders was all the time wrong for example I didint want fries because the are not tasty for me so I choose always sweetcorn comb but I never get it always I had dry cold fries.I spending a lot of money in KFC but always is problem with the order.Today my kid want KFC But by Uber I was scared order again so we went to KFC I order by the till I was nice and clear but in the end I didint have order right again Seriously I don’t want even loose my time to write this but this is not right we working so hard for our money and in the end we not get what we want.The workers doesn’t want to lessen they change order them self and in the end the costumers is the bad one not the worker.I use to buy from this KFC from years now but last 6months was nightmare to order and even when I come my order was wrong.
