Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Not eaten in the Cafe for some time but remembered being pretty decent. However, it was so disappointing.

We decided to use the qr code on the table to place the order.

I had the Xmas chicken sandwich which had pigs and blanket on the stick.

Order took over 30 mins to be ready despite being very quiet, maybe 4 other customers, and not everything that was pictured on the menu was present.

Staff just said they had ran out of stock or item but didn't mention or offer alternative.

Won't be coming back for some time...

I popped in for breakfast while car was having an m.o.t. service was average, the food came extremely quick... my toast was burnt on the underside with frozen/ unspreadable butter the bacon was cold, the poached eggs superbly done but cold. not offered any sauces...

I’m a regular here it’s my go to on a Sunday. staff member Pauline in the cafe is friendly bubbly and full of chat today she isn’t her normal self and it shows ☹️You can always tell when she’s on shift it’s clean tidy and has a buzz about it . Hope you back to...
