Persian Delight Restaurant — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

I visited this restaurant with my wife, as part our monthly lunch date. I read the reviews which was glowing with praises and we thought we'd give it try for ourselves. The staff were friendly and welcoming, who guided us to a quiet and cosy room at the back, very nicely decorated giving the Persian vibe.

We ordered, the Lamb Chops, Chicken Kebab and Lamb Fillet, they all come with a serving of rice, naan or chips.

The food was served very quickly and it was looked and tasted wonderful, cooked just the we like it, very flavoursome and the right texture, not too soft nor rubbery. It was succulent and juicy. I would definitely recommend.

The price is also very good value for what you get, normally you would pay more in a takeaway.

All in all a very good experience and would happily go back to taste the other items...

My daughter is starting at Newcastle university After sorthing out her room we decided to go for Persian food I found this place on Internet looked ok we all went there the place looks ok they have a section for families which is better decorated it was clean and the service was very quick and the food was actually very nice in comparison to restaurants in Leeds and London which I regularly go

And finally the price it was well worth it the only downside I have is they did not have small glasses for traditional Iranian tea !! I hope the get some soon for next time I will go there Thanks again for the great...

Update may 2023. Still one of my favourite places for a good proper meal. Highly recommend.
