I recently visited Brighton Food Store in Newcastle, and I must say, it was a disappointing experience. The store fell far below my expectations and left me feeling unsatisfied.
Firstly, the overall cleanliness of the store was questionable. The aisles were cluttered, and the shelves were poorly organized. It was difficult to find the items I needed, and I spent far too much time searching for basic groceries.
Furthermore, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. When I asked for assistance, they appeared indifferent and lacked knowledge about the products they were selling. Their lack of professionalism was evident, and it made my shopping experience even more frustrating.
To make matters worse, the quality of the products I purchased was subpar. The fruits and vegetables were not fresh, and some were even spoiled. The meat section had a limited selection, and the items I bought had an unpleasant odor. It was clear that the store did not prioritize quality control.
Lastly, the prices were unreasonably high for the low-quality items they offered. I felt like I was paying a premium for mediocre products, which is completely unacceptable.
Overall, I cannot recommend Brighton Food Store in Newcastle. The lack of cleanliness, unhelpful staff, poor product quality, and high prices make it a place to avoid. There are much better options available in the area that provide a superior...

Read moreBrighton Food Store, Newcastle – I suggest avoiding this place if possible.
Today, I went in to do some shopping, and the owner at the till charged me twice for the same item. I’d heard from friends that he has been double-charging some of the items to customers, seemingly on purpose, and today, I experienced it firsthand. If you look at my receipt, you’ll see that "Mango Kesar" was charged twice ( Total I bought 4, He charged for 8) After payment When I returned to point out the error, he pretended it was an innocent mistake. After talking to a few friends, I found that others have had similar experiences here.
After shopping at this store for 15 years, it’s upsetting to think that I might have unknowingly been overcharged countless times. I feel both disappointed and deceived. Avoid this place –...
