Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Newport

Would not even put 1 star after my experience here today I went down to costa for a drink with me and my Mum and our service was terrible we got served a girl called liv who was full of attitude first of all I payed with a £20 pound note and my order came to 6 pound I should of received £14 back and only revived £4 I said to her I should of had 14 back and she kept saying I didn’t pay with £20 calling me a liar I 100% know I payed with £20 she kept giving attitude back till I finally got the ten pound back. Then I asked for a semi skimmed cappuccino witch is red milk as my mum is allergic to the other Milks I made it clear my mum wanted the red milk and when liv started making the drinks she poured green milk into the jug ready to make the cappuccino I told her I wanted the red milk and her still being annoyed with us about the money probed stormed round the back to get red milk and again served us with attitude my mum told her that the reason she wants red milk is cause she is allergic and she awnsered with “huh” me and my mum are regular customers and have never had any problems but today was a completely horrible experience please watch your money and make sure your drink is correct as she is a thief and accuses people of lying will not be returning as...

I love costa but the customer service at my local drive thru in Newport is disgusting! I have been a regular costa customer for many years but the customer service at my local drive thru In Newport is disgusting! I ordered a regular Vanilla latte and a large mocha with extra chocolate. Even though I paid for the extra chocolate they didn't put any in there. I went into the store to amend this and the staff member by the name of Liv had a disgusting attitude! She threw the costa drink in the sink and re-made my drink while giving me a lecture that Costa do not allow people to customise their drinks even though I have been ordering these same drinks for years!! at various different Costa stores. This is not the first problem that I've had at this particular store. On a pervious visit I had an offer on my app of £3 off any hot drink, when I came to use it at the drive thru I was told that it was only for selected drinks (which was not stated on the apps terms and conditions) so the store manager starting giving me attitude saying she was going to have to take the £3 out of her tips - crazy!! avoid The Newport East dock road drive thru at all costs! at lest until the can employ friendly staff that know who to...

This is a Costa drive through in Newport, that also has a place to sit in doors and outside.

It was a hot day and I just wanted to have a little sit down and enjoy a light lunch.

The staff were friendly and efficient despite having to do double duty of service to the drive through and the walk in clients.

The café was clean with lots of different configurations for seating that can accommodate different party sizes.

Was a little disappointed 😥 that although on the menu board, the selection of vegan options was non existent.

As a dairy intolerant vegetarian, the only thing l could find was the mushroom and spinach roll. Which by the way was delicious. However it would be nice to have actually been able to purchase any of the other items that they held as being in offer.
