KFC — Restaurant in Newport

Kfc has become very popular for not being very fast in service, but we all accept this because of the food is worth waiting for but today i give this restaurant a 1 only because of the lack of customer service, we ordered food as normal and paid which was ok. But on second window, while we waited for a while we had no communication at all, not a hello or we’ll be with you in a second, just a few people walking around looking at us. The lady that gave us the food had headphones in her ears this made it hard for her to here me ask for sauce with my meal. and once we had our food I had to ask twice again for some sauce, on which she replied that they didn’t have the one I wanted, ok no worries, i understand you run out of things. I’m now parked in the carpark eating my food and i realised we have no spoon or fork for our coleslaw. Easy mistake as shes busy listing to music, so i go in and ask for a spoon , and i also see all the sauces on display. I ask the lady behind the front desk which again I had to wait for a while and tried to get three peoples attention I finally received my spoon but also my sauce, very annoying my wife has eaten most of her food now. If this lady in drive through had said hello or will be with you in a bit. No problem, instead we waited a while with no communication. If this lady had given us the proper utensils with our food ie spoon, napkin, sources . id be happy, if this lady wasn’t listening to music or something on headphones, ( clearly not kfc microphone) and decided to look harder for the 3 or 4 sources your suppose to have with your chicken bucket meal, which we only wanted one. i wouldn’t be complaining but it seems to be happening more often each time...

Disgusted, Try to order chicken and threatened to be arrested. Had to give 1 star to this to be able to give review. NO STARS is what I give to this restaurant. To explain, the Spytty rd Newport site is having the interior re fitted but drive through is open, I went to the window to explain my vehicle was too large to go through the drive through and asked if I could place an order there, The nice girl said yes sir but can I just finish the next car order first and I will take your order. I waited and when the car cleared presented my order to the girl and while doing so was interrupted by another member of staff , a Ms Clare Morris RGM, who says she is the manager who then informs me I'm not going to get served at the window, I explained again my vehicle will not fit through the dive through. She then said very rudely, that's not my problem, I said the other member of staff was happy to help, she reiterated she was the manager and if I did not remove myself she would call the police and have me arrested. I commented on her customer service skills and she replied she did not care. I would describe Ms Clare Morris as a young inexperienced, undertrained, vile young lady and is on a power trip with her staff and requires a serious amount of re-training in customer service. If she were a member of my staff and spoke to my customers the way she spoke to me, She would be looking for new employment - preferably on her own in a lighthouse where she could not offend decent loyal customers may be an option. This matter has been passed on to their complaints...

Went here today for the first time in a good few months was made to wait at the tanoy for nearly 20 minutes when finally asked what we want the women had an aggressive tone didn’t seem friendly at all, had to wait again for a while at the window until we paid and received our food, we ordered a 10pc bargain bucket with a pot of gravy and a fillet box meal which came to £32, the food was hot but wasn’t very nice at all the chicken was hard and wasn’t enjoyable at all, the fries had no taste and gravy was like a pot of jelly just fell out the tub in a blob like it had been stored away then reheated, the chicken burger was solid and the Pepsi was flat this place has gone down hill over the years and with the prices they charge for the quality of food it’s unacceptable, the car park is full of rubbish and seagulls everywhere landing on your cars fighting for food it’s not pleasant at all, will not be returning here ever again very...
