Even though I was born and brought up in Newport this was the first time I had taken advantage of this wonderful exhibition. I visited recently with my 12 year old granddaughter and was shown around by John de Caux, a friendly and extremely knowledgeable gentleman. Safe to say this exhibition was really worth visiting, as it combined both highly interesting artifacts and displays relating to the vessel. But also information delivered by a knowledgable and enthusiastic guide.
