Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Newport

We were a party of 2 adults and 2 children, we visited after going to the soft play. The eating area was filthy, dirty tables, the seats had greasy hand marks and food all over them. The floor had food and litter everywhere. The windows looked like they haven't been cleaned in years. The condiment table was dirty the bottles had dried sauce all around the lids. We complained to the staff member who brought our food, she said they had been too busy. A member of staff cleaned the tables around us but not the seats or floor. Very poor service, staff on counter stood about were more interested in gossiping rather than serving/giving good customer service. I actually felt like an inconvenience and like I was getting in their way. Don't mind Tesco cafe food, prices on the up but same as everything else these days. But yeah will think twice about returning here due to the poor service. Shame.

In love with Tesco Cafe. Me and my friends make a regular trip here due to its wide selection of meals and food which have all been of great quality. The prices in here are decent and the waiting times are always minimal. Staff here are really nice and approachable and make it their main focus to ensure you have a top quality visit. The cafe also offers a nice view out into Newport Retail Park with large windows spanning the exterior...
