Caffè Nero — Restaurant in Newport

Me and a few friends went there for a cup of tea , the young man was wonderful but the older lady with blue eyeliner and brown hair was very rude! , she was shouting for the next customer to order when they were close to her and it was not very busy at all so there was no need to act as if she was in a rush and we noticed a group of ladies leave their table so as we are still in a pandemic I asked if we could sit at that table and she said “ whatever sit wherever” and when my friend asked about it being wiped down as people was just sitting there she asked us to clean it our self’s so we did otherwise there wasn’t really another option as there was 3 of us with bags so this table was the more ideal one , I had a cup of tea and she didn’t give me any milk or ask if I wanted any at all so I asked about it and as usual she did it with attitude , the only good thing that came from this short visit was the good tea bags 🙄 ...we won’t be going back I have never had a problem with the other staff and I’m aware she has been there for a while as now and then I see her walking around in there but she was so unprofessional it just made us all...

Caffè Nero is my absolute fave coffee shop, and this branch is always clean and tidy and staff are super friendly. My friend and I came today for a coffee and there was a queue but you could see staff were working as quickly as possible, not only to makeup some large in store orders but also preparing some Ubereats orders. Couldn’t help but overhear an elderly lady complaining about the wait and just wanted to say how well the boy serving dealt with it. The white barista with short pink hair (didn’t get her name) always has such a bad attitude, is rude to customers, seems like she hates her life and her job and that customers are an inconvenience to her. As a result I’ve stopped coming to this branch as she genuinely ruins my day and coffee experience. Caffe Nero has a “coffee promise” which she doesn’t comply by and if you ask for anything to be changed she acts like you are asking her to give a human sacrifice. All the other staff...
