Great variety of meal deals and there's something there for everyone. However, I wouldnt recommend vegan fried food such as fritters as they are fried in the same oil as fish, burgers etc. The owner provides a great service by greeting you upon entry and when ordering will give you some info on the food being order to ensure the customer isn't mislead. I'll give my example, I ordered the fish bites and chips meal, the owner explained the bites aren't all cod as it's a mixture of white fish, cod, plaice and haddock but despite of this the fish bites were very tasty and not greasy at all, this was also a good value for money. I had an amazing experience at Maindee Fish Bar in Newport! The highlight of my visit was definitely their delicious vegetable samosas. They are perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and bursting with flavor on the inside. Each bite was a delightful experience.

Only tried this chippy before lockdown came into place and it was nice "i remember john owning this before take over from the new owners. I am a regular in the Arrows club close by and i spoke to a member about this chippy and he said its really good. So me and the mrs thought lets give it a try.. BOOOM.. CHIPS WERE AMAZING WITH THE BEST VINEGAR ON TOP OF THEM. Also she ordered Cod. BOOM 'FRESHLY COOKED AND CAME IN A LOVELY BOX. Also she asked for Madras sauce. BOOOOOOOOM. The best ever.
