Tucked into the centre of Caerleon Village is this lovely CafĂ© and Bakery. I popped in initially due to it being a little later in the afternoon and everywhere else being close to closing, but to my surprise it was open! Taking a look at its opening hours shows its excellent operational hours, a cut above the competition in Caerleon. But the standout was definitely the food! I had the Bratwurst in a Brioche Bun and I was truly blown away by the taste, presentation, all of it. Not many places would give you the whole tray of condiments for you to use at your discretion, and I commend them for it. And both the Bratwurst itself and the Bun were excellent, as you'd expect from a Bakery. Lovely and fluffy brioche. I also had a Welsh Cake and a Mocha. Can't go wrong with that combo! Welsh cake was lovely and light, and the coffee was good. I also really appreciate that every part of the Coffee takeaway cup is compostable, including the lid. Little things like that really make a difference. The atmosphere is lovely and cozy, and I imagine the outdoor seating will be great in the warmer months. To top it all off, great service from warm and friendly staff! I'll definitely be back to try the pastries! đŸ„

Lovely little gem of a bakery/cafe in Caerleon. The people working here are friendly and welcoming. The coffee is really great and the baked goods they make are gorgeous. I had the vegan Cornish pasty which was delicious, the pastry and filling was fab. We also bought a loaf of their brilliant sourdough and the cakes we've had there before are fab. Some seating inside and lots of seating outside. All food can be eaten in or takeaway.

A gorgeous family ran bakery, amazing food and a very warm family welcome. We had lunch sat outside on their picnic bench. We had steak bakes, shortbread and meringue. Steak bakes were the best I've ever had. Wish we lived closer so we could try more of their delicious foods. We bought fresh bread to take home..... it did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend a visit.

This delightful little cafe and bakery has become a favourite place to treat ourselves since we discovered it last year. If you like your savouries, you can choose from a selection of hot bakes in excellent pastry or have a sandwich made to order in your choice of the bakery’s delicious bread or rolls. For a sweeter tooth, there is a wonderful range of mouth-watering cakes and pastries to choose from. Of course, there’s nothing to stop you going for both savoury and sweet – we usually do! Coffees, teas etc. are all very good and there are also meal deals on offer to take out. Standards are very high and the venue is spotlessly clean. The staff are lovely too – very friendly and helpful. You may have to wait a while for your food at busy times but it’s worth the wait. They are happy to get to know you and they want you to enjoy your time with them. WE...

We were recommended this bakery by our waitress at a local pub down the road. A short walk later and we were there. And it was AMAZING!!!!!!!! There were 6 of us and we each got at least 3 items. Every single thing we got was superb. We even ordered more to take home with us. One of my favorite items was their custard tart (i don’t know the fancy name for it). It was absolutely scrumptious. I could’ve eaten 100 of them in one sitting. They also had wonderful cookies, cakes, pastries, and bread. In addition they also had savory pies, pasties, etc. My fiancĂ© las lived half his life in England and travels throughout the UK frequently. His favorite steak pie WAS in Southampton. BUT his new favorite steak pie is at the Village Bakery now. He was drooling with every bite. Visiting this bakery is an ABSOLUTE MUST!!!! The owner is extremely friendly and the aesthetic...
