First time to visit this eatery and turns out it's a favourite with my family, who are regulars! I need to go back and try some more options, but I loved the Smashed Avocado with perfectly poached eggs, beetroot, rocket and chilli flakes on toasted sour dough bread! It's too rave about. I didn't take pics as I was too hungry and dipped in straight away. Coffee hit the spot and a lovely atmosphere. It's a good sign when you see the owners of a Newry eatery and a favourite of mine, "Loft 27" sitting as customers in Church Lane and enjoying their fare. Without a doubt...

Had a gorgeous wee breakfast here with a friend. First time and was impressed with quality of food. Sausages were fab!

Sat outside at a sheltered picnic table. Service was fab- very attentive and friendly. Like a little hidden gem off the main Street so was lovely and private/quiet.

Didn't get a pic but there was a very friendly cat too!

Menu was limited but staff were happy to accommodate if needed.

Wouldn't be suitable outdoors for someone with a physical disability- picnic benches hard to get in and out of but indoors could...

The breakfast at Church Lane was great. I had the vanilla waffles with strawberries and peanut butter. It was perfect for me, but too sweet for my hubby. He had the fry and said it was really good, with 'real' sausages and homemade beans.

The staff on a Saturday morning were all a bit inexperienced, but keen and polite. The music was too loud to be comfortable for me but it was turned down after a while. The table was sticky (and I can't stand a sticky table!). Would have been 5* but for those things.

It was ok nothing special or amazing. I found the coffee to be quite bitter even with adding extra milk. Tried the breakfast bap which was tasty. It wasn't very busy but the staff seemed to be as they forgot to give us knives and forks. The menus on clipboards are a food hygiene risk as they are 2 pages that are constantly handled. When you ask for tomato sauce it arrives in the original bottle (instead of sachets) which was grubby. I am not having go, it is a cosy place but better coffee is available locally.
