This cafe is amazing, the design and style of the interior are very well done and fitting. Staff are amazingly freindly and even the customers are polite and friendly places outside and inside , bike stands outside door as it is right next to the tarka trail so alot of passing cyclists stop by for a coffee, food or beer , there are ice creams and cold drinks fridge and you can eat in or take away check out the cake slices you will be spoilt for choice. And the coffee is amazing. I haven't even mentioned the best bit yet which is the indoor softplay area for kids. Although at the moment you must ore book tickets for it there has always been spaces left which are infact limited per sessions of 1.5 hours but while theme is a ship and it has lots of tables which you can order hot breakfasts drinks lunch depending on time of day to through their app. Just be sure to add table number. There is a secure entrance which stops the kids wondering off staff must press button to unlock gate in or out. And adults are allowed to enter play area ( with shoes off too ) to play with their kids which is alot of fun and a great way to spend 1.5 hours my kids prefer this place over all the other local indoor play areas probably due to the fact it is less busy and smaller but just as much fun. You won't be disappointed in either cafe or softplay if you go. This whole place is amazing for entire family...
Read moreWelcomed by genuinely warm staff, with big smiles, on a Sunday! Given menus and seated and given time to choose. We only really came in for coffee but the breakfast menu looked great so we ordered two breakfasts (including a veggie one) and some drinks. It all arrived promptly but not so immediately that it would have been pre-plated and sat around. It's was really tasty, hot and well-priced. I had an oat milk cappuccino which, in my experience, have been hit & miss elsewhere but here it was really good! So with full bellies off we went to walk the dog at Crow Point. Top marks for Quay Cafe - see you again soon 😀👍
Update : Most recent visit included dirty chips with veg chilli and all the trimmings and a fish & chips with minted pea puree and was outstanding. It was fairly busy in there but service was speedy, friendly and very efficient! Top marks again for Quay Cafe-...
