This place is lovely. It's in a quiet (I went in April) little village on the north coast of Devon, set back from the main through road. They had special kids cups and a sippy cup for the little ones, sith puzzles and games to keep us all intrigued and occupied.

Being Muslim we were slightly worried about our diet but the owners were very accommodating and gave us a selection of non meat, non alcoholic options.
If you visit Devon, be sure to visit Hele and the old corn Mill, the scenery in the are is absolutely...
Read moreA truly delightful tea room with the most delicious food in wonderful surroundings. The owners are delightful and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We all had the most amazing cream tea.

5 minute walk to the beach afterwards to skim some stones. Perfect afternoon.
*note from the photos we had Cornish and Devonshire scone methods. Love this...
