It’s been a year or so since we’ve been here , it must have changed hands because the breakfast was very very disapointing , the food used is of lower standard than before , the hash brown was tasteless and just soaked in oil , the sausages were cheap and pink and tasteless , the tomato was hard and the beans were cold , the bacon was not cooked at all and was inedible . The coffee was very good .i have no issues paying for a good breakfast but this was substandard for £55 . We won’t be returning and cannot recomend to others with a clear conscience. So very disappointed As of today - no reply to our email , the email they requested 19/2 - still no reply to the email they requested Poor customer service

This has to be the place in Royston for a lovely dinner, lunch, drink, snack (or all of the above). We live locally so are here on a regular basis.not only food is delicious, staff are friendly and accomodating for children and dogs. I cannot recommend it enough! The food we got today was kids' fish goujons and chips, adults fish and chips (small platter) and kids' meatballs with gluten free pasta.

Lovely location, but genuinely disappointed with the attention to detail. Ordered the £12.95 Panzanella Salad which was underwhelming and had more ingredients from the sweet chilli salad, options I don't actually like, hence choosing the Avocado salad (caramelised onions, sundried tomatoes - really not a fan) furthermore, ingredients from my ordered salad were actually missing: no basil, no red onion - granted the waitress said they were out of Avocado - which was not a problem as they said they would add more of the other ingredients to account for this, but the mixed up creation I actually got didn't hit the mark or even resemble what I ordered.

When I recieved the bill for a salad, side order of chips and a coke just shy of £20 I was a little bemused. At best, the salad was worthy of a £7 price tag (and that's if the order had been correct). Please review as a £12.95 green salad really needs to be exceptionally good, we all know how much a bag of babyleaf salad costs 😂

I won't cover the issue of my sister being served luke-warm prawns..... I'm sure she'll review that....

Popped in for a bit of coffee and cake late this morning with a colleague. Coffee was palatabl3, but nothing special, in line with something like Costas, but it wasn't the worst one I've ever drunk. My excitement on finding some biscoff cake was sadly extinguished when I tried it and realised it was a gf version and therefore drier and more dense, as is often the case with gf cakes. My colleague's scone however was top notch and I'll deffo be going for that next time. That said though, the service was excellent and everything was kept tidy and clean, despite being so busy. Sitting outside watching all the dogs and their walkers was lovely too. Remember to sit inside if you're not a dog person, because their are lots! I've been here before and although this wasn't my greatest review, I would still recommend it on the strength of previous visits. Maybe next time I'll just opt for tea and...

Stopping by fir a snack and a cuppa to break up a long journey this cafe is tucked away just off the road beyond the tennis courts under the heath near Royston. Unprepossessing from the outside,it was a dining bar area I side a d extensive seating under shade if umbrellas or a large awning. I require a Coeliac strictly Gluten free diet and l can't recommend their Chocolate fudge brownie highly enough! There was also GF oat flapjack, and GF Bakewell tart. These were on separate trays in the same cabinet as the many other great looking standard cakes croissants and danish pastries. (We missed the kitchen's offerings of cooked food - closed at 3pm). Excellent coffee came in generous white porcelain . Staff were pleasant and helpful. The bar area looked well equipped with the usual range of alcohol &...
