The pub is ideally situated at the end of a long walk over the trail, so went in for a couple beers and a bite to eat.
Lovely cosy pub plenty of tables and a fireplace near the bar, where there’s also a wishing well with a pot of coins to use to make your wish came true, great for the kids and adults alike.
Plenty of wind spirits and ales/beers on offer as well as a bar menu, separate to the main menu.
The only “grip” we had was the menu offered a range of “paninis,” but what was served were 7”narrow French sticks, (the type you get in Lidl, not Sainsbury’s), done in a griddle press. Think we should have been told this...
