Labone Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in North Norfolk

Very very poor and expensive. My meal was £16.95 for a plate of meat without any rice or sauce. It was a sizzle platter but was dry and not worth the money. My two children had korma which was so sweet they couldn't eat it. The restaurant charged full price for the childrens meals too and made no offer to discount. My husband thali platter was tiny. At our local Pakistani centre we would have paid £4 for the equivalent meal, my husband's meal was £17!! The restaurant was gloomy, the staff were ok but in hindsight were probably trying too hard to compensate for the fact that the food was massively over priced. Really annoyed I didnt query our bill of £107 for two adults and two children ...3 starters, 4 main courses, one portion of rice, one nan and one side of chips.....£107. Do not recommend this...

I’m rating this restaurant one star because of how high the price was and how low quality the food was. We ordered for 2 adults and 2 children and our price was £100+ . I ordered a Lamp Corma ,when I got it and tried it , it tasted like it had a whole packet of brown sugar in it and it was to sweet I didn’t want to eat it . Even though I am a kid I still want flavour in my meals not pure sugar because it tasted like a dessert. We had a starter that costed more than the whole meal should had costed I liked the chicken but it needed more spice and flavour in it. We had a great evening dining at the Labone during our short holiday in Norfolk. We chose the Monday evening special menu which included mains and sides and rice or naan. We ordered one extra paratha and shared from our choice of 3 special meals between the 5 of us. Unusually for us with the help of some hungry youngsters we managed to finish everything. The food was all really tasty. I’d sum it up as a real classic Indian curry night. The paneer dishes were especially good in our vegetarian feast. Value for money with the special deal was very good.
