I was on a long bike ride out of Norwich and intended Fakenham to be an early lunch stop. I arrived ahead of schedule so plan A (fish and chips) went out the window, but after a little wander around I found Taylors. Even though I arrived a good half an hour before even they ordinarily start serving food, they still rustled me up one of their very tasty Christmas sandwiches to go with my pot of tea. The cakes/pastries looked good as well, but I didn't want to overdo as I still had a long way to ride!

Read moreThis morning myself and my other half visited Taylor’s in fakenham, walking in there is a lovely display of fresh cakes with a nice menu pinned up behind the counter and of course show casing the fancy coffee machine and syrups! We always sit down stairs in the “cosy” in which is exactly what it is very cosy indeed! Read moreAbsolutely incredible. Dog friendly too! A reasonable size menu, staff are very friendly, get drinks within minutes of ordering and food within minutes too (even hot food). Take away boxes for hot meals and cake. Have been Bere several times and observed others here too all getting the same service.
The food is absolutely incredible. Fresh home made pastries, hot plated pork/beef/chicken made fresh and perfect crackling. Prices are unreal and portion sizes are rediculous. This lot cost us under £20!
