I was given a postcard from this museum which inspired me to visit, with the added bonus of market day on Thursday. I watched an informative video (video!!) before having a guided tour with a knowledgable and friendly volunteer. It was a fascinating blend of history (work, social, local and advertising) along with chemistry, physics, engineering, and nostalgia. (I remember my Nan having gas lights upstairs in her Brixton house and my dad using coal tar soap) Well worth the hour long bus journey from Norwich and more than happy to make a donation.
