Costa Coffee — Restaurant in North Tyneside

We use this costa often but this morning the service from Adam (I believe) was exceptional. Working alone for a short time as the shop opened there was a queue to the door, Adam was professional yet friendly and so calm. What impressed me as I waited for my turn to be served was how he knew customers names and greeted them individually, knowing what their drink would be he was one step ahead making the drinks. I work in hospitality and I understand the importance of customer care, Adam is a credit to your store/company and should be recognised for his dedication, maybe even be asked to train others to this level. Costa you have a star working for you.

I come to Costa most days to have an hour to myself and do some reading for work. It really is a great coffee shop. The coffees are delicious. Most of all, the staff are brilliant. They know my order, have a sunny disposition and daily chat. Sitting listening, I can hear that every customer who comes in is given the same welcome. They know all the regulars and make the morning coffee experience...

The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a issue once with the coffee cup lids, it didn't fit correctly and it spilt on my gor-tex jacket. I told the manager and he did his absolute best, however head office didn't care and I was met with excuses. However the manager went out of his way to help.
