The staff at this restaurant are judgemental, condescending and dis-respectful. My partner and mother in-law were belittled and humiliated. After a afternoon of my mother in-law having numerous tests at hospital her my partner and my daughter went for what was suppose to be a relaxing meal with my 4.5 month daughter (our daughter is very small for her age so looks like a newborn due to being premature). They had a starter and a main each and shared a bottle of wine (so drank no more that two glasses of wine and also had water on the table). After they had finished their meal and I had finished work I was then driving to pick up my daughter and obviously had not been drinking and would be responsible for my daughters care. On arrival I can assure you neither my partner or mother in law were "unsteady" or "intoxicated" as staff have said they were. Before my arrival my partner and mother in-law had decided to share another bottle of wine as grown adults are entitled to do so and I would then be taken my daughter home while they enjoyed some quality mother and daughter time after a very stressful day. However staff refused this and called them "intoxicated". This was not true. Issue here was not the alcohol intake but however how the staff treated my family. The manager was said to be the one who wanted them to be refused service but did not have the respect or decency to make this request themselves and instead exited the building without any acknowledgement or conversation with my family. They made a judgement from I assume only walking past them and was not around while they ate/drank and only one waiter was present the entire time they ate/drank. The manager then asked her staff to make the request and actually asked an older more abrupt member of staff who had been upstairs the whole time and again had not seen my family eat/drink as opposed to actually asking the waiter who served them. The male waiter who was actually in no way rude to my family appeared to have no issues with my family throughout the meal. The older member of staff kept saying it was "managers decision" but would not allow them to speak to manager nor allow them to leave their number to speak to them about her decision and their actual waiter did not once actually talk to them about the refusal but appeared embarrassed by the whole situation again repeating "managers decision". My family remained calm and level headed throughout all the conversations and were not in anyway rude or aggressive. However staff were rude back and left my family very upset and extremely humiliated. I completely understand a restaurants right to refuse to serve customers however in this instance it was not justified or in anyway appropriate. My partner and mother in-law were sat downstairs in the restaurant and were actually the only ones sat in this area where they had chose to sit due to not wanting to carry a pram or a young baby up the steep stairs. They were not loud or rude and there was no other customers other than them in this area. Only one waiter was downstairs and only one waiter who actually seen my family eat/drink and he again I repeat appeared to have no issues or have any problems with their behaviour in a very quiet downstairs part of the restaurant. Unfortunately my daughter is teething and had become a little unsettled and although my partner had fed and changed her at restaurant she remained a little unsettled and my partner attempted to settled her by walking around and trying to comfort her by bouncing her and was not "unsteady" when doing this. At no point did my partner fall down or hit into anything as I repeat she was...

Lovely place, prices are really good. Was hard to find but gave a call and the lady gave directions.. it's on the junction at at corner and upstairs. Interior is nice and it's quite busy which is a good thing. I gave it 3 star's cos I chose probably one of the expensive dishes of the very cheap price dishes ( don't get me wrong it's good but just maybe they can put an extra £2 on the cost of the meal and is still cheap to eat but for that they can add a bit more food to the dish and make it's still afford able but manifucant and amazing or wonderful of 5 stars) So I had this rosemary chicken breast that u select a salad or chips with. Tbh it didn't sound like a dish to watch with chips or just said on its own. And I was right in asking if I could have mash instead which they did. It was like a pan boiled chicken with rosemary And a tiny amount of watery gravey. Like a table spoon. This was I believe almost £9. No veg with that. Just feels like chips or sad would have made this a salad or a dry odd chicken to eat with chips. It was fine with mash but felt it needed veg.. but overall the gravey was non existent so it was dry. My friend had the muscles and prawn pasta turns out it's just two prawn for garnish. My husband has a fish dish and his lookdd good and the kids todlers had a tomato pasta, which was quiet bland fine for them but lacks Salt, basil or some flavour. The puds we went for the five cake with ice-cream wanted it warm, friend went for the caramel pud and they were semi warmed shame .. Toilets were clean and staff were friendly. I think the menus need to be clear and not so false and they should look at what goes with a dish and decide to be able to plate them all in the price even if it's a few £s to the dish it can won't lose business but make the it...

AVOID THIS PLACE. The worst manager I have ever seen. Cheap but still not worth it. Its at the end of our street so for convinice we went a few times after our first terrible experience. The manager is a horrible human being. The first time we went she was shouting at the wait staff so loudly we couldn't hear eachother. When asked to keep it down she told us to mind our own business.

The food is dire. I ordered a prawn cocktail which is £5, and Got the tiny little Iceland prawns still frozen on shredded iceberg lettuce. No sauce no seasoning. When I complained the manager said '''they are fresh prawns", I pointed out one was still frozen. She grabbed the plate and stormed off without apologising.

Next time I ordered a £20 steak. No longer cheap. Ordered medium rare. It came tougher than an old boot .Asked for a new one, it came RAW. Same sour faced manager refused to send it back to the kitchen.

Finally my partner ordered a pizza and it was stone cold and stale. The awful manager insisted it was fresh and refused a new one. Making a massive embarrassing scene.

She's clearly a woman on a power trip running a once decent restaurant into the ground. As a family of four who regularly went here, we will never be coming back.

Gets rid of this horrible woman or the business will go under. Serving frozen and raw food to customers then being aggressive with both staff and customers is just plain unnacepable. I can't fathom why she...

An absolutely amazing restaurant, the food is delicious, and really reasonably priced. There's a really nice, cosy, and friendly atmosphere inside and there's a great view of the town centre. Carly, Ingrid, Laura, and everyone else who works there, are all so nice. We love this restaurant so much that we had our wedding reception there and they were so great and accommodating on our special day. Overall, would recommend to everyone.

So we had a meal on a Wednesday night, it was a bit quiet as expected but the food and service was 5 Star. The 16.95 meal deal with a glass of wine for 2.50 was excellent. We would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back . The food is really good and no complaints.

This was a great find and stop. We were cycling back home and called in for a quick pizza. The pizza was outstanding and arrived quick. Literally were down and dusted in 22 minutes. The venue is great, staff are friendly. I will be coming back again... Take my time the next visit.
