Plaza Pizza Whitley Bay — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Absolute disgrace! Do not go here! I ordered my food at 1:15AM via uber eats the expected delivery time was 1:50AM - 2:10AM. The time came and no food had arrived me and my boyfriend waited till 2:30AM and rang the restaurant the man on the phone told us they were busy and our order was out for delivery and would be with us soon. By 3AM there was no sign of our food. At 3:30AM we rang again to be told our food was out for delivery. By 4AM - three hours after ordering our food we rang again to be told for the third time it was out for delivery. At 4:30AM we rang again and expressed we weren’t happy with the wait and £43 for food that hasn’t arrived is unacceptable, only then after calling for the fourth time the man working in the shop rang the delivery driver who told him he had delivered the food and it was outside our flat. Went outside to find our food outside our gate at the side of our flat in the pouring rain, slugs crawling all over the food packaging and no pizza that we had ordered and waited THREE HOURS for. Didn’t eat any of the food due to it being infested and can’t get refunded via uber or the restaurant. So unless you enjoy your food stone cold sat outside your garden gate in the rain crawling with insects and slugs I wouldn’t order...

ordered food from this place at 2AM didn’t arrive until almost 6AM!!! then they just left it on my doorstep because obviously everyone was asleep, rang the restaurant over 40 times after it was already late to try and see what was happening they blatantly ignored me, they didn’t bother to contact me either to explain that the food would be late or anything like that. then when i rang them the next day to get my money back they told me to get into contact with just eat to get a full refund which the restaurant said would happen which was a lie i was given £5 credit to spend on just eat which is beyond ridiculous that’s not enough to get anything nor is it enough to compensate for the money i spent that they took!! absolutely shocking customer service when trying to resolve the issue, rang them again to see if they would finally give me my money they said they’d ring back and didn’t bother with that either!!! shocking!!! wouldn’t recommend to anyone not worth the waste of time or money!! and clearly from reading other reviews this is something the clearly enjoy doing to a...

Tried this place for the first time, we got a offer from the back of menu (pizza, kebab, garlic bread) I collected but was soon back after trying the pizza, it was kebab pizza was well overcooked. The cheese was hard and the kebab meat solid! i thought i take it back for a fresh pizza but was NOT happy with service. I showed my problem to the staff in a friendly manner but was met with arrogance saying my pizza is fresh after he was poking the top of it, i says it's rock solid and he said "what you want me to do?" i said replace for a fresh pizza please. So after him not wanting to help and me standing there he took the pizza and slammed it ontop of his oven pi*ed off and when i was sitting there they were all keep looking at me foaming lol. SO about 10 min later i received the pizza and still not looking happy. I was about to leave in my car as outside with window down and could hear them laughing there heads off and speaking in there language. Obviously taking the pss. Also kebab dry but didn't complain about that as would have been told it was lovely...
