Costa Coffee — Restaurant in North Tyneside

I ordered online via the Uber eats app and stated that my friend had a serious dairy intolerance. We asked for the mint choc chip frostino with no cream, soya milk and none of the chocolate sauce and that to contains milk. The drinks arrive and the mint choc chip frostino is full of chocolate sauce. I tried a sip and all I could taste was the chocolate sauce over the normally strong mint flavour. We think that there was a confusion at the premises when making the drinks and got mistaken for extra chocolate sauce. The drinks are already expensive. But for almost 5 pounds, the drinks went in the bin as it would have made her seriously ill. I have contacted both Uber eats and Costa and been ignored over what could have been a serious allergic reaction. Also, the cappuccinos we get from that particular Costa are always burnt or over syrupy as well as somehow not knowing what a cappuccino is. There is never any foam on the top of the coffees we order online. We only live about a mile away from the Costa and with working from home i can’t leave my desk, so we order online. Surely a little trip down the road with coffees shouldn’t mean the foam Is not existing when it arrives. Don’t waste your money and instead go to paradise cafe in the forum as they’re an independent business and not a money hungry chain. They do lovely coffees and are...

I visited Costa Coffee in Wallsend on 3rd September — a little late posting this, but I wanted to call out the fantastic guest service I received.

I came in that day to quietly mark my mum’s passing anniversary. I don’t usually use Costa myself, but she always did, so it felt like the right place to go. This isn’t even my local branch, but the experience really mattered to me.

Joe took the time to talk with me about why I was there and made sure it was a special visit, even though I was emotional. It meant a lot that he went above and beyond, and it honestly turned into a meaningful moment over a simple coffee — a “toast as you were.”

I also want to mention Laura and Curtis, who were equally kind and helpful. Together they made the visit feel personal, caring, and memorable.

Quick at being served,a lovely atmosphere,in fact a bit to comfortable,i met an ex workmate on 2 sep occasions,first time we were in there 2 hrs just talking we cldnt believe it,i blame those sofas lol..the 2nd time was yesterday we decided to sit on other chairs but nope that didnt work 3.5 hrs later we left,after having consumed 3lattes,3 coffee,so is it the coffee,the sofas,the lovely atmosphere,that make us loose track of time,or the fact,we just love Talking,ps i,m going bk in today,but need to draw the line at about hour as have grandkids to pick up...lol...i blame costas for allowing us to sit in a lovely shop that is so clean,and no one bothers you plenty of seating,just right...
