Dil and The Bear at the Station — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Well... What can I say other than we absolutely love it here the menu is so great & the food is prepared and cooked exactly as it should be ... The surroundings are quirky & the art is buyable! I particularly love this one but I currently haven't got a spare £700 .. it's a great place for couples & families, the outside seating is also pretty special too ... Food is also appropriately priced & parking is very easy outside .. One thing we did notice on our way in was the huge bins next to the entrance .. don't let that put you off ...although it's not what you'd want to see or smell ...this place is absolutely beautiful & incredibly clean throughout...can't wait to go back & have...

Disappointed with order. Lady got it wrong and served egg. My wife does not eat egg and left that bit. Took the plate back and explained the error. Were offered no discount for mistake. Ok and the response as you can see is defensive and not constructive. Just for the record my wife did not eat the poached egg! She cut into it to make sure it was not holumee. As it looked similar, it was covered in garnish so it was hard to tell. She did not bring it back straight away as we had already waited 25mins and she was very hungry and did no want to wait any longer. Judging by your responses to others the customer is...

Puzzled yesterday (Friday) we reserved a table and noticed that other tables had reserved signs on them . Our lunch was ok apart from having ordered to be told some 10 mins, later that one of our orders was not available . Luckily my wife was happy with my order apart from a bone in her chicken, also no cutlery was supplied. We were near the cutlery draw so that problem solved. My replacement was good apart from the plate was really too small . Today we tried to reserve a table only to be told " we don't take reservations" . I appreciate whatever the policy is just wish it was applied...
